i'm not crazy for the look posted here, its too 'coordinated' with the plaid skirt and those boots are a bit off for me.

regarding red tights, i wear them with my over the knee purple skirt and my silly tyrol baby blue one (rushed waist, embroidered hem, the works)
I wouldnt wear red tights with minis though, they can be too 'bright' with minis, they 'steal' the look somehow, i prefer them with over the knee skirts.

I agree. It looks like a catalog photo, not a real person's outfit.

i love bright colored tights -- esp. with minis, but im not really feeling the look here. it looks too coordinated. i say mix and match textures and colors.

just found this thread and wanted to push it back up!

i bought a pair of red tights a couple of days ago, because i saw three girls on the street wearing them and each single one looked amazing..

but now i don't really know what to wear em with..

any ideas?

Ahhh yeah... The good old red tights.
Do you know that our Austrian Airlines forces their stewardesses to wear only red - from the shoes, skirts, jackets and TIGHTS. Well you can imagine...

Basically, for me red tights work in editorials and on shows like they styled them for Givenchy but I think I would never really wear them in privat.

I can't see the first photo, but i love coloured tights (not footless, regular ones) in general. Especially petrol, yellow and fuchsia ones.
