Red is really big for spring showing on most collections on both sides of the atlantic. It stated from the Fall '03 shows and made it's way up to Spring. :flower:

More Red at Miu Miu and Gucci:

Red was/is strong for fw03-04 but i'm not sure it is one of the strongest colours for ss04 igni.. maybe its just me.. but i havent seen that much red at the summer catwalks (apart from Prada & V&R )

nice shaded Branquinho dress

Not sure. I did see some of it this season. Of course, you most likely will anyway because its like black,it will never go away. Which is good because I love both.

Deep blue, green and khaki were probably the biggest colours this season, imo.

I dount think it was a major trend for a/w or s/s. I thinkt het alot fo fdesigenrs use it as a alternitive to black.

How do you add more than one picture to your posts?
it can work only if you attach directly from the web, not if you post from your computer ;)

*one double breasted, big collar and a belt in the back

*one in tweed in the likes of CHLOE with a belt attached to the coat

i think i "need" the first one :woot:

I personally don't really like the color red.
but I don't mind getting a pair of V&R red shoes or that red Dior bag :P

Green, indeed, is the biggest color statement for Spring but red is a strong runner-up. :flower:

Designers Reignited the Red Dress for Spring

NEW YORK, December 16 – In the handbook of seduction, few tools rank with the consistency of the red dress. Along with plunging necklines and garter belts, it delivers a very specific message—and, considering the numerous songs and movies devoted to scarlet (or scarlet-clad) women, there’s an eager and receptive audience. This spring, designers added plenty to the lexicon with variations ranging from sun-soaked tomato to moody ruby-red.

At Lanvin, Alber Elbaz shaped a handful of liquid charmeuse into a smartly sexy bias slip, while Miuccia Prada romanced the idea at Miu Miu by dropping a feathery garland over an hourglass-tight sheath. Helmut Lang and Emporio Armani put a sporty spin on their brief crimson minis, while Narciso Rodriguez and Maria Cornejo accomplished fashion chemistry, mixing cool tailoring with fiery shades for predictably steamy results.

.. and for those who didn't think so.
