you may wanna go with a medium i guess.

hi everyone,

I've been shopping around for RO and had a chance to try on some garments and they fit like a dream. I also found some items by the drkshdw diffusion line online but did not see any in person. Can anyone tell me more about this line and how the quality compares to the main RO line? I saw that the prices are cheaper, about 1/2 to 1/3 the prices of the main line so I would assume the quality is not as good, but please anyone that is familiar with both lines please let me know if I am right or wrong. Thanks!!

I found the DRKSHDW line to be comparable to the main line and it's definitely not 'bad' quality.

darkshadow is really only cheaper because it is 99% denim. it sucks that he doesn't do other peices (like outerwear) like he does for lillies (the women's diffusion).

have any men tried the women's leather jackets? I feel like many of them are pretty unisex, and the men's for w/e reason are much more expensive, and have less design interest.

I think I remmeber seeing it in leather too on the runway, you should double check. I really like it and was considering it as well along with a few others. I would definatly go for it if you can get it in leather, but not in suede.

Guessgirl96 - friend of mine emailed me that pic and I am planning to get my jacket trough him as well. As far as I know his friend works at RO showroom in Paris, so he asked him to put my name down for this jacket. It won't be available until August and I don't know the exact price yet. I am hoping for something around 1K.... I have a feeling though it will cost way more.

I am definitely in need for a leather jacket! Have not decided yet who should I give my money to. To Rick Owens or to Junya Watanabe? Love them both! Ohhh choices! I wish money wasn't an option. How easier my life then would be!

Grill - I always prefer leather vs suede. Very nice style though!

Grill, hands down, leather. Suede will look very bad after a season and his jackets are not cheap.
Shantelle, if you are talking about retail price, I *think* that it will be close to $3k. Junya uses lots of vinyl and synthetic material to make the "leather" pieces so you have to look at them in real life to tell how the quality is.
