If you're adventurous then its a really great choice this season and many to come. The silver accent makes it very futuristic and it looks warm to boot. I think you need to be fairly tall to pull it off. If you get it a picture is a must, Ive never seen it worn.

Sarah, that's a great piece! It's easier to pull it off if you are tall though but go for it if you feel that it's calling your name.

from a guys perspective...it's cool, but for a winter coat I'd want something a a little more low key that can be worn day in and day out. And wow, I've been a member here for like 3 years and this is my first post.

Well I bought it and it should arrive tomorrow! I am really excited. I have a few traditional wool winter coats some dressy, some more everyday, but I wanted something super warm that wasn't typical. That is what drew me to this coat. I try it on and post it once I get it. Thanks for all your opinions

I just got a gray suede shearling jacket in the classic RO style. It's a size too big so I'll need to get it taken in a little big but I love it!! Finally I have a warm jacket and the suede is so soft.
For a while I thought I was ripped off - I got it from thereference on ebay who sells lots of rick owens and he said he could lower the declared value if I'd be willing to do it off ebay to save on fees. I think customs tax is even higher on leather so I did it. I sent half the payment and the other half within a week like we agreed, he always replied quickly and was actually kind of nagging but then stopped ever replying after I sent the payment. I was sure I was going to have to go through the hassle of chargeback until it showed up today two and a half weeks later. Very relieved!!
