She’s finally with Kate now.

What a life she had.. she comprehended so many decades and lived in the present in all of them, being active and curious and true to herself. I think her style and her relationship with Serge is a good place to start but only a fraction of the exciting life and career that she built for herself.

RIP Jane, she lived a long and incredible life - she deserves so much better than to only be remembered as 'that girl on every wannabe 'French girl' moodboard', a "muse" or, worse, "the inspiration for the bag" (love that she treated it with a healthy disrespect). An inspiration to us all in more ways than one

She and her unique style and wisdom will be missed greatly.
But she will live on in many great films, pictures and songs.
I truly hope we will see some tribute to jane fashion collections in the near future - because her sense of dressing during so many decades was also one of a kind.

RIP Jane.
She is really one of those staples in French culture that always felt immortal (like Deneuve).
She remained in people’s heart with her personality and honesty. She is an icon in every sense of the word even if I never felt like she was really recognized for her Art. With Serge, they literally invented a new kind of singers…

‘It’s impossible to mention Jane without mentioning her influence on fashion. Beyond the Hermes bag, she redefined really the idea of La Parisienne. For the last 50 years, in a generational way, women have tried to be Jane B.

‘May she rest in peace. It was heartbreaking to see her go through the effects of her health condition those last few months…

RIP, she is and always will be one of my favorite cultural icons. I seldom read Vogue articles but kept her Vogue Paris interviews to learn French when I was young. Time flies!
