I don't see any point in buying a pair of ripped jeans. I hate seeing rips in the odd places. I do have a pair that is ripped, but I srsly didn't purposely ripped them. >(
Love it. Very rock n roll.
I might have to buy a new pair of black jeans and rip 'em myself; it has a more authentic feeling to it than buying the ones that have already been shredded for you.
agh i only like ones with rips at the knees...otherwise they're not very nice imo maybe they'd be alright with a beaded or floral top or something though.
When I saw Susie Bubble wore the ripped jeans under differet colored tights, I thought it was interesting visually. I don't think I'll try it though but I definitely am into ripped jeans, I think it's such a cool casual look. I've ripped one of my dark skinny jeans and here is the result:
I'm all for this trend but seriously, it can easily look frightening! from what I have seen on various blogs and my own experience, it works best when you cut various parallel lines, more or less the same length and don't exaggerate. Or really do exaggerate and make parallel close cuts all over the place! in this case it also works to wear black tights underneath.
(and no need to buy ripped ones, just buy a pair of jeans at h&m and slash it yourself, if it doesn't work out, you can always make denim shorts!)
