I liked Dell'Acqua's Rochas too. That's how I discovered Nº21. Never cared for Zanini's tenure though.

I don't know why Rochas insists on keeping the fashion division alive since I'm 100% sure it's not a source of major income. Furthermore, this particular collection doesn't look like something that would spark any kind of fantasy. It actually looks like an unfinished project done on a shoestring. There are some ok-ish pieces, but they are absolutely lost in the sea of Lacroix-from-shein silhouettes.

I wonder if being a French white twink will be enough to make Rochas a real success because at this point, there are no signs of maturity or understanding what the brand actually needs.

Very Hits and Misses. The Highs are highs and the lows and like the bottom of the barrel.

The white mini shirt dress with ruffles on the bottom is fabulous. The rest is average…The flowers things are atrocious. I’m still rooting for him tho.

The guy looks like a clone from a young YSL. A pity that YSL talent was not cloned as well.

I don't think designers must know how to sew or drape but dear lord is he blind? These garments look so poorly made, cheap, unfinished. I would be embarrassed.

It's extremely amateur in both vision and execution, and the entire presentation is so dated. Very circa 2007 London Fashion Week. The hairstyles are hilariously cringey.

This entire project is exactly what happens when designers get hired based on their social media value rather than based on their talent. Clearly he does not have a dynamic enough aesthetic to be the artistic director of a Maison. These clothes are very nondescript. You can find these styles on the first floor of Le Bon Marche in amongst all the contemporary fashion brands.

What value does he add as a designer to a prestigious Maison like Rochas, please someone enlighten me...

I think so too! there are great ideas but then some other are terrible. he needs direction! better styling definitely!
some editing would’ve helped too but there aren’t many looks…

the hairstyling is terrible and super dated - Galliano did it years ago but obviously much better.

he does look like a younger Yves and I don’t actually mind. we all miss him.
