Runway Makeup S/S 07

Question for you ladies about #47 above, with all the Valentino makeup. This is really just a question from someone who knows nothing about makeup, and doesn't wear it either, but...why is it that all the girls have a glowing upper lip.

I can't tell if its the lighting of if the makeup artist has put some sort of gold coloring on the top bow of the lip to enlarge it?

Hi youarearockstar you kind of said it your self..

why the glowing upper lip ? - to enlarge it .. or bring it forth.. (a general makeup rule.. if you want to something to protrude or look larger you lighten it.. if you want to recede or make something appear smaller you darken it)

A sort of highlight has probably been applied ( the glowing upper lip/ gold coloring you're referring to)

the valentino makeup is beauitful, i love the pink lipgloss

& the karl lagerfield eye make-up is done beautifully!

btw does anyone know what eye pigment Pat McGrath has been using. she did the makeup for all three shows and all had this amazing super shimmery gold pigment on them!
i was planning on getting MAC Gold Dusk but i believe its discontinued.
any recs?

Anyone know what they use on the cheeks? maybe eyeshadow? ANd how they they keep the colors seperated, not mixed, and turn muddy?
