Ryan Gosling sports a timeless look at the 2011 Golden Globe Awards held at The Beverly Hilton Hotel on Sunday (January 16) in Beverly Hills, Calif.

The 30-year-old actor donned a black velvet Ferragamo suit, a white shirt with pearl buttons by Lavin, black Patton leather shoes by Ferragamo, and a Hugo Boss black velvet bow tie.

Ryan is nominated for his performance in Blue Valentine, a project that he called “a once and a lifetime opportunity.”

On the red carpet, Ryan met up with the film’s director Derek Cianfrance.
