S/S 2007 Ad Campaigns (please read post #1 before posting)

Wow Liliane Ferrarezi, getting a bunch of campaigns, now that is a surprise, didn't see it coming.

Would love Hilary for Givenchy to be true.

^^^ She has done Christian Lacroix as well (SS06).

Good for her if she landed all of those!

Edit: Are we sure they meant for this season? I don't know if she ever did LV, but it seems like a strange coincidence that she did both A/X and Lacroix SS06...

Well, she didn't do LV SS06 (Gisele), so I guess that breaks the trend!

^ True. But they also mention her old covers, so I think they were just listing her body of work and saying she's now available for bookings with Place.

^^ok because i wasn't sure if the website was just listing her previous campaigns or something. too bad :(

I see what you mean now :) It does sound like a false alarm then!

^ oh yes now I understand it too. I think it's indeed her old work..I already found it a bit too surprising

Yeah, I'm not sure, but it seems like it. I miss Liliane. :(

Good for Isabel booking Byblos, though. She's a beauty! :)

Oh thats a shame because I would much rather see Liliane considering she is a model do LV over Scarlett :(

a fun little piece of gossip from page six:

JESSICA Simpson could have been the face of Miu Miu instead of Lindsay Lohan, if it hadn't been for her slavish devotion to her hairdresser, Ken Paves. Insiders say Simpson was on a short list of celebs Miu Miu had in mind for its next ad campaign being shot by famed fotogs Mert Alas and Marcus Piggott. But when the snappers learned Simpson was on the list, they nixed her. "They felt snubbed by Jessica because they were set to do her Vanity Fair shoot several months ago," says an insider. "Being the professionals they are, they wanted to bring in their own hair and makeup team, but Jessica said if they didn't use Ken, then she wasn't sitting for the shoot." The shoot and cover story for Vanity Fair were canceled amid false rumors that editors spiked them because Simpson refused to dish on her failed marriage to Nick Lachey. Our source insists it was the hair issues that ruined the spread: "Most fashion photographers use their own people - and they certainly don't use Ken Paves, who is considered tacky and amateurish for high-fashion shoots. He's very 'Texas pageant hair.' " A rep for Simpson said, "She could not have done the campaign anyway because she has her own clothing and shoe line."

I don't even want to believe that there is a serious discussion about these two .... well Prada + Miu Miu = unchanged melody. Not interesting anymore. Especially boring are men collection. Lycra Lycra Lycra..Black Black Black...

Nineteen-year-old carioca model, Marina de Paula, originally from Tijuca neighborhood in Rio de Janeiro, was photographed during a weekend session in London by acclaimed photographer Mario Testino for the new campaign of Gianfranco Ferré´s Italian fashion brand.

an update from Nov 13:

JOÃO VELLUTINI WAS PHOTOGRAPHED FOR THE GIANFRANCO FERRÉ PERFUME CAMPAIGN

At 22, João Vellutini was photographed for the Gianfranco Ferré perfume campaign and is currently considered the modern example of the successful Brazilian male model both in Brazil and abroad. João, who was discovered by chance on Leblon beach in 2001, had faced a harrowing experience on his first international engagement in New York as a model at the Twin Towers on September 11. Since then, he has made numerous appearances in fashion parades and advertising campaigns for such renowned Brazilian and international trade names as Osklen, Cavalera, Calvin Klein Underwear, Valentino, Armani and many others. João, is currently studying Economics, lives in Rio and is six feet two (1.89m).

^ That makes a whole lot more sense.

I've heard rumours about Prada being someone brand new (as in zero runway experience), but whenever someone's on option for Prada (only like a billion girls...), rumours start flying around. At this point I wouldn't be too surprised if it goes to Sasha again.
