Saint Laurent F/W 2023.24 Paris

I have seen women adding a belt, or a scarf as belt, around the waist...
I think in terms of shoulders the biggest I have are two Margiela jackets (from 2007 by Martin) and one Tom Ford from his SS2019. It’s massive shoulders, it’s a statement but the cut is so great that it’s versatile and it can stand on it own.

I will try the pieces in stores in order to judge if something can be done with it. Because I wonder if they will produce it in one-size-fits-all. If not, it might be different when sizing down for example.

But It’s interesting because Anthony has been experimenting with the Mr Saint Laurent shoulder since his collection with the latex pants and while it’s visually tempting, I haven’t been convinced once I tried it…And I have blazers from the time he was Slimane 2.0
Anyway between this, the menswear with the blouses with big bows and the 6500€ shearling coat from the Prefall, I’m dying over Saint Laurent right now lol.

Paul Sinclaire styled all of the jackets to be open for the runway, so they might look less boxy when fully closed.
I’ll judge it and give my review lol

So I think it’s fair to expect SS2024 to be about pants?
