Saint Laurent Resort 2025 Paris

A raid in the archives.
I wish it had more added value, I don’t know, fuller, more detailed, something.
The styling is lazy and too in the quotation for me. You can reference Loulou without styling them like in the 70’s.
And when you add the knoll chair from the 70’s…

That being said, it does the job it is supposed to do as far as resort is concerned.

Splendid. The absolute moment and a Yves code. So many must haves IMO... that red and fuschia belted romper with wedges is just awesome. SO many awesome looks. The worst are the see through ones...
Gorgeous indeed !
I've spotted the exact same things, that rompers, the boots, so so many good clothes (except the see-through too). But overall those wedges are the real shining stars !!

Gosh, why does Vaccarello always need to be so literal with his references in his collections? This feels so dated and dusty to me.
You have to wonder if he just has a list of Yves' 1970s and 1980s collections and throws a dart at the list before he "designs" the next collection. I'm not getting much from what he's offering.

the absence of opaque fabrics is becoming monotonous. Not everything needs to be tissue-paper thin and p*rn*gr*ph*c, especially for winter
Speaking of 'p*rn*gr*ph*c,' one question that comes to mind is why he always uses such flat-chested, blasé, ultra-skinny models for clothes meant to be so sexy and provocative. I’d love to see a more voluptuous girl like Imaan in his next campaigns. And Anthony, if you're reading this thread, please stop using Juergen Teller for your campaigns, thanks. :winkiss:

Compared to the Balenciaga improvised shooting at Hôpital Laennec at 8AM after a wild night at the Club Silencio, this feels like the opposite: a pre-collection respectful with the DNA of the house, generally good with a couple of even wow moments (the third white look, the fuchsia and red).
I approve copying from your own archives.

finally his woman can go out and enjoy without being scared of destroying her clothes. I wonder who styled it... it could have been styled a bit fresher. the hair, the headscarf... makes the collection feel a bit dated

I just found out that without the brilliant of SebAstian soundtrack doing the heavy lifting, Anthony’s SL just lose 70% of the allure for me. Because there isn't a single pre-collection from him that actually appealing for me.

This is just too literal, too straight out of the 70s for my liking. He needs a strong stylist who could make these look more current. You can be inspired by the 70s without looking like you are cosplaying the decade.
