I never said that, I said DH is too common (mainly the jeans and tees), but exceptions can and will be made for great pieces. I didnt get the trench but I did get the single-button topcoat on pre-sale...Yay...

I was at Barneys myself tonight and tried on the Raf coats that I thought I wanted (the damn 46 was huge!) but since my SA left and I normally shop downtown, I didn't venture to ask about presale. Who's your SA and how did you broach the topic? Do they just put it away for you then and call you when the sale happens? And when exactly does it happen for the 3rd floor men's section anyhow?

They had the advert out last year too. I like it it's all Christmassy/moulin rougey, very over the top though. I prefer the Chanel Chance perfume ad.(sorry its off topic) I won't be in London on the 27th I get back on the 7th of Jan. Will all the good sales be over by then?

Anyone know or can guess when Marc Jacobs Mainline womenswear goes 70% off in the sales. As I understand it - shoes are currently 70% off and clothes 40% - still holding out for the big SEVEN OH though! .

had a browse in several stores yesterday, HN - Selfridges - Topshop...., and got to say the sales are pretty ad this time around.

Has anyone heard of Style Democracy? There's a sale going on and they're selling Lacoste products. I've heard that SD has a tendency of selling fake goods. Does anyone know?

steven alan is having a sample sale right now and thru the weekend i believe. fabulous shirts! got two of them yesterday, a sweater, and a coat... might be going back for a shirt dress and another ... y'know shirt. lmao.
