I'm really liking these jeans, particularly the grey colour as seen on Kate Moss but unfortunately my poor film student budget won't stretch to the real deal.

Does anyone know of any similar styles, preferably in grey, that aren't quite so pricey? I've got skinny jeans in black and blue but can't find grey ones anywhere.

Just buy a grey pair of jeans, and bring them to a seamstress, she'll make the leg skinny. :flower: Voila, cheap and effective.

I've found the perfect ones!! Super skinny grey jeans from Topshop. I got them today and I think they must be pretty new in cos I've not seen them before and they shoppers were all buzzing around them. I found them during my search for nice regular grey jeans to take to a seamstress as Kimkhuu suggested and I love them!

Sass & Bide Frayed Misfits Jean

Hi, I was trying on the Sass & Bide Frayed Misfit jeans today. I don't have legs that are like stick thin but I do have hips. I am always told skinny jeans are not for girls with hips, do you agree? Does anyone have suggestions on how skinny jeans can eb worn even with hips? Thanks

I have hips too and I own those jeans
just don't wear them with short tops

I have the blue ones..
They're skin tight..I'm normally a size 24 in jeans but this model barely lets me breathe at size 25..
But I got used to it, they stretched out a bit.

Anyhow it really depends..are you tall? I think that short, curvy women don't usually look amazing in skinnies..but of course there are always exceptions, and it depends how you wear them really..:flower:

I've got hips and wear skinny jeans but then again I'm pretty tall..... Well I think so anyway!! :D And besides, guys like girls with hips, right??!!

i have big hips & im pretty curvy but i wear skinny jeans anyways.. i just always wear them with longer tunics, etc. i just bought a pair of lighter grey sass & bides yesterday & theyre so comfy!

I have hips and I love my Sass & Bides. They stretch out a lot by the end of the day, though...I have them in grey and white and I'm about to get gunmetal.

man, these jeans do stretch out tho.. wondering if putting in the wash & dryer would help shrink them back to size? any suggestions???

I have the gunmetal ones they are simply the best!:flower:

I'm a guy and I have them in gunmetal and faded black. I have narrow hips, but a medium um.... seat. Anyway, they're like superhero tights almost they're sooo tight ! I haven't had a problem with them stretching out at all ! They've stayed pretty well fitting. And I've never had to put them in the dryer. My best girlfriend has them too, and she's a little more cury. She always wears hers with a longer shirt, down to her hips. She pulls them off pretty well. Another less stylish curvy friend has them in this melon color, and wore them with a short t-shirt. : / I didn't think it was very flattering.

the frayed misfits run pretty true-to-size for me, I have 2 pairs in indigo and black.
I love the runching at the leg and the fit, but they tend to stretch after prolonged wear, so I do wash them pretty often.
I do think they look best with longer tops, but I think that's a general rule to follow for skinny jeans unless you are really slim.
They'll shrink a little after being in the dryer and I can wear them snug again :)

I'm thinking about getting the indian tale one from DJPremium

but i've got the same problem, big bootay... I do know some people that can still pull off the look... i think that is why tunic style tops were invented ? to cover that bump.

So it is a general rule to size up? I'm considering getting ordering a pair online, but I don't know what size I would be.

I actually consider them to run a bit big, and as many shops carry them, i would try them before i ordered a pair. I'm a size 25 in Sass & Bide, 26/27 in Tsubi, 24 in April 77, and 26 in Cheap Monday. Hope that helps.
