My life in shopping: Savannah Miller
[/FONT]
How would you describe your shopping style?
Sporadic and impulsive.
Do you make purchases you then regret?
Not normally, but I recently bought a ridiculous pregnancy blouse that I haven't touched since.
But you enjoy shopping?
A lot. I'm sorry, I don't care what they say. It makes you feel good.
What's the secret of a successful shopping trip?
Don't have high expectations. If you go out looking for something you'll never find it.
What was your earliest shopping memory?
Getting lost in Woolworths in Cape Town because my mum was so absorbed by it. She's originally from there. Their Woolworths is completely different. They have an incredible denim range.
Do you go shopping with your sister, Sienna?
We don't really get the chance as we're both so busy. Occasionally we make it to Matches or Harvey Nichols.
What's the last thing you bought?
Silly putty for my kids. They're obsessed with it.
And the next thing?
Washable nappies. Totnesnappycompany.co.uk tailor-makes nappy packages.
Where do you shop in Gloucestershire?
There is a great antique centre on the A419 just before you hit Stroud, and I love Green Spirit in Nailsworth for its delicious organic beauty products.
What can't you get through the week without?
Chopped pineapple - it must be some weird pregnancy thing, as I hated it before.

Oh yay for this thread, I also like Savannah's style.. Had no idea she had kids!

She is pregnant at the moment. Thank you so much for beginning this thread. I adore Savannah.

I just noticed a lot of posts on Sienna's thread were deleted because people were discussing about Savannah's style...why not bump this thread?

My body and I: Savannah Miller
By BELLA BLISSETT

The fashion designer, 31, created the label Twenty8Twelve with her sister Sienna. She lives in London and Gloucestershire with her husband Nick Skinner, stepson Java, 15, and children Moses, five, and Lyra, two.

What is your daily beauty routine?
I use Simple Facial Wash to remove my make-up and a fantastic chemical-free moisturising oil Sienna introduced me to called Rodin Olio Lusso [oliolusso.com]. I tend to favour natural products, so I wash my hair with Aveda Camomile Shampoo and Conditioner.

Your make-up bag must-haves?
I wear Chantecaille Real Skin foundation and always carry Chanel’s Rouge Allure lipstick in Lover. If I need to look a little more ‘done’, I love Mac’s Eye Kohls or Shu Uemura’s Liquid Eyeliner Pen. I also believe that curling your eyelashes makes all the difference.

And your desert-island beauty essential?
I have incredibly dry skin, so Crème de la Mer is my salvation! It’s expensive but it works.

Who’s on your beauty speed-dial?
Luke Hersheson [danielhersheson.com], who cuts my hair. He knows how far you can go with a style – I like my hair to look ‘lived in’.

Your best-ever beauty treatment?
I often suffer from a stiff neck, and Sophie Davis [sophiekdavis.com] is the best massage therapist in the world. She uses a technique called Myofascial that releases pain and lengthens muscles. It totally de-stresses me after a busy day.

What makes you feel glamorous?
It’s not easy looking glamorous with three children, but a good leg wax and a manicure in a dark berry shade, such as Essie Clutch Me If You Can, go a long way.

How do you stay in shape?
I go to my local gym in Stroud to use the treadmill or rowing machine, but not as often as I should – I hate it! In London I do Jivamukti yoga [jivamuktiyoga.co.uk].

If you could change one thing about your body, what would it be?
I’m tall without much of a chest, and think my bum looks too big proportionally. I’ll wear a short skirt and then try to cover up my bum with a long jacket or cardigan.

What’s always in your fridge?
I get about 80 per cent of my pleasure from food and love making everything from scratch. My husband and stepson Java are vegetarians, so we have a lot of salad and I’ll cook vegetable bolognese or risotto. Occasionally I’ll succumb to roast chicken.

Any guilty pleasures?
Good roast potatoes.
Do you have a tip for body confidence?
It’s about feeling good in yourself. If I exercise, eat well but don’t deprive myself too much, I feel more agile and dynamic – both in my body and my mind.

Love all her outfits! Thanks for posting!

I'm not crazy about the side ponytail in the one, but generally I always really like what she wears.
