Schiaparelli F/W 2025.26 Paris

Another beautiful collection by Daniel. If only he could inject some of that spirit into couture.
It's amazing how much progress he has made since his first show for Schiaparelli. I actually wonder if it's all him or someone joined the team and sparked the change in direction.

Stunning collection, but damn, it's been 4 consecutive collections (Couture FW24, RTW SS25, Couture SS25, FW25) with terrible lighting and hence runway images. These dark lights setting kill the vibe of the clothing and it's hard to appreciate the details. The FW24 couture show was ruined by the lack of good lighting

I don’t know…
It’s a very tactile collection as usual. The fabrics are exquisite too.
I love the Couture inspired dresses but there’s also a very IG baddie vibe I’m not really into.

The collection is very Texan of course so it’s all familiar tropes but I don’t see it moving forward.
I’m personally a bit tired of that specific kind of snatched look but it has a lot of personality.

Perfect, it's regal. Maybe not really wearable in everyday life, but Roseberry is always a dream. Do they have the budget for decent photos? If the catwalk doesn't have the right lighting, they could take pictures backstage like Balenciaga Couture did.

its what balmain should be doing, refined tacky glamoured paris dressing for export on the edge of outdated but just modern enough that everyone understand what it should exude :-look at me........fashion

so much TF here lol its like the gays decided to battle with HA for who does TF best in paris

OHHH this is VERY Balmain-y!!! wouldnt have recognized it without the thread title.
i cant see any schiaparelli codes in this collection though.. or am i wrong

His RTW has come on strides since Malina started styling. I'm not a fan of the multiple belts (very Malina coded) or the mesh bodysuits but this is lovely; very luxe although a little too aloof perhaps. Those wrapped coats that recall Demna's Balenciaga circa F/W 17 and S/S 18 are my faves.
