Schiaparelli Haute Couture F/W 2024.25 Paris

I love it. it’s Haute Couture, it’s elegant and chic even if it’s nothing new the approach is has a classic edge. the cast was good could’ve/ should’ve been stronger.

But that dress does have everything to with the history of couture. And putting a 2024 Schiaparelli spin on that notion feels like it makes sense for this brand right now. And knowing that Elsa Schiaparelli was a frequent paying customer of Charles James's, I don't mind it that much either.
Well, for me it was lazy.

It's too stiff, almost like cardboard sometimes, and it's bothering me because I quite like the looks but keep imagining them with other fabric choices.
It could have been better with floating fabrics and flexible embroideries ...

Old fashioned collection for upper east side trash who think they’re buying old world taste. Pathetic!!

He also does things digitally. There have been videos showing him creating collages in PS. Was Karl the last one to work only through sketching?
