I walked by an Alexander McQueen boutique today and the two sa's were inside chatting together and scrolling on their phones not a single customer or even window shopper in sight. It was also the only store without a security guard, if not even the criminals want McQueen who does?

He is thanking God that his former boss, JW, is flopping so hard at Dior that no one has the time to bring out torches and rotten tomatoes or eggs for him now. He is so unqualified for the job, and this clearly shows. Mixing past collections like what Miuccia Prada is doing is cringe. This isn't design! Why not hire an AI?

the main thing about him is that he doesnt have the tailoring skills to back up his designs. It's very important in mcqueen, his looks can be everything but the kitchen sink but all tailored and edited so beautifully. new mcquueen guy just doesnt have it, everything looks cheap and craftmanship at the level of h&m. He is improving but way to slow
