To learn about sewing, and more specifically making clothes, do you need to take special classes?

Thanks :flower:

I like this thread, I want to give sewing a go, but I never seem to have the time  Also, I will usually end up hurting myself, or getting REALLY stressed...

what do you recommend?

I know how to sew allright, but I really want to start on some ideas I have right away. Can anyone recommend a good sewing machine?

I've merged your topic into here sullen_femme...if i remember correctly there is sewing machine recommendations in here...and I'm sure if you have any further questions people will be happy to answer them here. :flower:
