Shampoo And Conditioner

I second Aussie Deep Conditioner. It's wonderful, esp. for the cost. I got M.O.P. deep conditioner last week and have used it once, it's not bad and smells great.
For shampoo I use Orgins Clear Head about twice a week (I shampoo every other day) and on the other days I use Treseme Blonde Expressions. I need to find something else though, for blondes. It kinda sucks.
I used love VO5 but it doesn't do much for me anymore. It was so cheap too.
Oh yeah, herbal essences new lines suck. Don't waste time/money. My hair has a wet smell to it for the rest of the day. It's very weird.

If you have frizzy dry hair and want it shiny/silky there is no other way to go but Kerastase Oleo Relax...shampoo/conditioner mask/ and serum. what a difference it makes.

So glad I'm not the only one experiencing this!

You should try (if you already have not) sheer blonde. their products smell much better and work better than they did when they first came out

^Oh thanks for that. I tried it when it first came out and the shampoo caused me to break out on my scalp. Very weird, not to mention painful. I've always wondered if they've changed and improved over time. I'll pick some up next time I'm out, thanks!

I using Ojon ultra hydrating shampoo and conditioner along with their Restorative hair treatment and I love it:heart: My hair is always soft on top but after using this once all my hair is soft, feels silky and smells great^_^ :flower:

I started using Johnson's Baby Shampoo a while ago, and I think my hair is noticably less oily. I also like Neutrogena's deep moisturizing mask, whatever it's called. But I may need to try something else, since my hair is still dry and tangled. :(

... I have a question.

There are so many suggestions in this thread, but how do you know which ones to buy? ;[

Anything that smells nice...i have ash darkish brown hair (hard to explain...its a cold color, and goes platinum in the sun) so i can use brunette or blonde shampoos. Sunsilk smells of terry's chocolate orange..ummmm!

For shampooing, Aura Aromatherapy clove (for brunettes)...(AA) is this superb therapeutic treatment that's organically natural/pure...
As for conditioning my locks...Aura Rosemary Mint light conditioner...It leaves my entire scalp with this soothing tingly sensation...intensely love it!:flower:

I purchase the 1L/ bottles for $15.99 each (US price) at a salon...

Ah! That's awful. I would be careful of trying it again..I would feel terrible if you tried it again and it caused another breakout- even though I do feel like they have changed their formula since Sheer Blonde first came out. My friend and I tried it then and it smelled gross and sort of made our hair look bad too. Now, I think it rinses out a lot easier and like I said smells better.

I always chose something that has either a high MUA (makeupalley.com)rating, or something that doesn´t neccessarily have a high rating, but the reviewers that did rate it highly are people who I identify with. I also often check their pictures on their profile to see if their hair type looks similar to mine. Obviously this works in the reverse too if you want to find something to avoid. :flower:

Right now I am swtiching from redken allsoft to Aveda sap moss, I can´t find Redken here. The Aveda seems to be pretty good, it smells like mud which I love, and my hair is much less oily. It also contains Icelandic moss, and I figure since I am in Iceland maybe the Icelandic water will give it magical hair powers.

I mainly use bumble & bumble (gentle shampoo and thickening conditioner). I have oily hair. So when I feel like it's too oily, I'll use redken, biolage, or phyto. Other than that, the rest of my hair products are bumble & bumble.

I use the Kerastase range - Nutritive Bain Satin 3 and Nutritive Masquintense Epais. They work brilliantly on my super dry/thick/coarse hair.

I want to try Kerastase but I'm not sure which of theirs is best for long not really thin but not thick hair?

Hmmm, its hard to say because it sounds as if you have fairly 'normal' hair, and most of their products are for problematic hair. Maybe something from the Resistance line?

I alternate between Aveda's color conserve s&c and their damage remedy s&c. Like every other time I wash. Which is about 3x a week. Actually it's really less:ninja: but my hair is short and like NEVER oily. I could probably go a week without washing it and no one would notice. I guess I wash more just for my own peace of mind.

What about Intense repair from L'Oreal Professionel. I dont know if it has been discussed here but is it a good shampoo?? Anyone using this?
