Shannyn loves all kinds of music, watching movies, and dancing, writing, and painting.

Was with her friend, who deejayed for Gwyneth Paltrow and Jack Paltrow's joint birthday party in Hollywood, when discovered by director of A KNIGHT'S TALE (2001).

Was in three commercials before being in the movies: Oldsmobile, Kodak, and The Gap.

Stars in Mick Jagger's solo video God Gave Me Everything (November, 2001)

Was a receptionist for her stepfather's car dealership.

Was as a DJ in small clubs in LA.

Worked briefly as a telemarketer for a carpet cleaning service.

I like the eclectic nature of her style, she pieces things together that are a little off beat....

biography

Shannyn was born in Hawaii in 1978, raised in Reno, Nevada since 1982, and moved to L.A. with friends in 1996 to study dance. A casting director noticed her when she was helping a friend DJ at a birthday party for Gwyneth Paltrow in October 1999. Six months after being "discovered", Shannyn was cast as the fair maiden Jocelyn opposite Heath Ledger in A Knight's Tale. She likes to perform what she describes as "jazz, crazy modern, and hip-hop" dancing, but wishes she had stuck with tap and ballet from when she was younger. She continues to DJ classic rock and '80s tunes.

She's Hawaiian, French, Dutch, Filipino, Irish and German. She uses to gets a hundred bucks by DJ-ing in little lounges every tuesday nights. Her sister, Jennifer Lindberg is trying to follow her steps. Hopefully we'll get to see her soon They share a house in L.A.

She has 3 tattoos, including one, on her back shoulder. It's a 'S' with a flower. Totally beautiful on her!

She was dating Dallas Clayton, a kick-box instructor in 2002/2003. She gave birth to her first child, Audio Science Clayton. After "The Order" in 2003, she tooks a small break from her carreer, probably because of her new mother status. But now in 2005, she's back in action with some new small roles in some upcoming movies.

we need some more recent photos of her, I think she is getting back into acting afer taking time off for her baby, so i am hoping that we'll start to get some soon.
