i went out into town last night and every girl seems to be wearing these long top/mini skirt length chiffon dress/tunic things in a variety of patterns and colours .. mianly animal print

silver knit tops (as in roomy 80s off shoulder blouses) skirts and dresses are real huge over here

In Barcelona right now:

- Leopard print in leggins, shirts, scarfs, shoes...

- Leggins with short dresses

- This kind of shoes

- 60's inspired jackets (it's not cold enought for coats, but shops are full of 60's coats too)

-Skinny jeans in bright colours: red, green, yellow

- Hounds-tooth everywhere

Same here in Amsterdam, the houndsthooth and 60's coats are thanks to Zara, Mango and H&M, it is all over the place.

b&w huge houndstooths been up at shopwindows but thanks god not on the streets yet..

other trends from Athens
*lots of leggins but mainly for the 12-18 year olds (max)
*young consumers seem very drown to non-colours (grey, blue, khaki)
*trenchcoats are the thing to wear
*boots seem less popular than usual
*girls are 'discovering' red lips ..must be that Chanel tv spot

Right now (small college town in the US)
I see tons of leggings and denim minis, lots of the standard preppy look, a few tunic tops and leggings, a number of girls in skinny jeans and flats. Kinda boring really :/

In auckland i've noticed that quite a few people are wearing:
- karen walker sunglasses
- jazz shoes or brogues
- leggings
- neck scarfes
- shorts
- crop jackets
- ballet flats
hmmm i actually don't take much notice of the trends or what other people are wearing so i can't think of much else!

Red lips are huge here too, especially among young girls.

here in manchester it seems to be anything goes, the only rule is there are no rules!

bright prints paired with clashing leggings/tights seem to crop up quite a bit, but otherwise its all very glamourous, grungy, fabulous rock and roll! perfect!

Well, I've always wanted to bleach the hell out of my hair until it's mega-white, just becuase I think it looks amazing. Stark white hiar pulled up into a French Twist...wow!

When I lived in Minnesota...
Crocs/Airwalks
the 'prep' looks. (mini skirts with polos, popped collar, of course.)
Yep, high fashion was Aeropostle, A&F, etc...
Purses? Dooney & Burke and Coach with 'high fashion'. Everybody else carried fake LVs from Wal*Mart.
Shirts that said "my other boyfriend is was hotter", and other sayings such as that.
Band T-Shirts (also courtesy of Wal*Mart) for the Ramones, Beatles, and Rolling Stones. The majority of the wearers have never listened to those bands.

Now living in Washington DC everybody wear's the hip-hop style. Guys wear everything way too big , girls wear everything way too small. Even the littlest ones are sporting bling, marabou, and plunging necklines.

Oh, and these. I hate these bags!

 I hate those bags, and everyone and their mother has one.

In Paris right now:
*skinny jeans with ballet flats
*skull scarves
*gold bag with gold belt
*black leggings, denim mini skirt and ballet flats
*Pete Doherty clones
*oversized bags
*headbands

From what I have heard most of Europe is more 'rock/punk' music inspired, here there is (still) a lot more hip-hop influence. We have the rock shirts etc, but most girls and boys look more like Fergie  and 50Cent, instead of Kate and Pete.
A lot of (fake) gold like the gold belts and bags.

Stripes are everywhere right now where I live. ( a nasty little city outside of Boston)
Mostly big thick black and white ones which I don't like very much.
Oh, and everyone dresses the same!!:yuk:
I would rather everyone look bad but different than all the same and so-so.
People look at you like a freak with 10 heads if you step outside the box.
