It's odd the Australian laid back casual style seems to be very popular amongst Southerners at my uni.

I saw boys wearing ugg boots whilst I was in Australia , I also saw them walk around barefoot like it was completely normal haha.

college town:

LEGGINGS (EVERYWHERE!!!!)
Sweater Dresses
Skinny Jeans
Boots
Ballet Flats
Headbands
LV, Gucci, Fendi bags
High waist Belts (this is wayyy played out here)

Hikone, Japan is not a very trendy place, but I went to Tokyo last weekend!

- Boots
- Fur accents and accessories
- Fake Nails
- Short pants
- Leggings
- Legwarmers
- Knits

currently in London:

- skinny jeans tucked into equestrian inspired boots
- skinny jeans worn with chunky, platform shoes
- leggings, even with no skirt on!!

right now most of the girls are wearing skinnies with flats (silver or goldish colors) and oxford type shirts with a knot so you can see the belly, they are also wearing lots and lots of leggings @_@

god you guys mine isnt even worth posting about
it is soooo depressing, they dont even TRY to stay on top of trends. fake tacky and obvious displays of wealth. thats silicone city for you i guess.

Trends in Long Island, NY:
-headbands
-uggs
-vans
-stripes
-multi strand necklaces
-wearing huge sunglasses when there is no sun out...
-peacoats/trenches
-rude attitudes

In the very unfashionable Chicago suburbs, mainly just leggings, denim minis, and huge, slouchy satchels.

too true. i think lots of us don't wear shoes. i dont wear them in summer  :innocent:

anyway the trends where i live which is Northern Beaches, Sydney, AUstralia are
  • definately the whole "emo" thing (EXTREMELY tired of this trend)
  • thick belts worn just under the boobs like these
  • bras showing
  • babydoll style dresses with the belts and ankle boots
  • massive fringes, even for non "emo" people
  • long chains with pendants
thats all i can think of at the moment,im sure there are more though!

in Athens:
*everyone on flats during work hours (boots, ballet.. anything flat)
*wedges
*Purple
*dark 'raw' jeans
*leggings with minis (denim or otherwise)
*short trousers (either over the knee or mid calf with small buffant hems)
*bangs/fringes are huge
*fur details on jackets
*bombers and puffy waistcoat jackets

Netherlands:

  • Fur trimming on jackets, coats, sweaters.
  • Skinny jeans.
  • Uniform jackets.
  • Flat ankle boots.
  • Bangs.
  • Dark hair.
Well, that are the main things I see.

In Warsaw, Poland for women between 20-30 main trends (if I'm a good observer) are:

- dark skinny jeans worn with flat equestrian boots or boots on high thick heels
- ballet flats when it's warmer (in black, red or gold / silver metallic)
- stripes (but I guess they are finally in retreat)
- oversize sweaters with big collars (also with oversize turtle-neck collars)
- green
- knee-long formal trousers worn with opaque or lace tights
- huge scarves or (cashmere) shawls
- cross-shoulder vintage bags
- oversize bags
- red beads
- and of course: (faux)fur trimming on jackets

I live in Cleveland, OH, which isn't exactly the fashion capital of the world. :innocent: And these are mostly from who are considered the more "fashionable" . . .

1. Gray and navy blue
2. boots
3. leggings
4. skinny jeans
5. heavily embellished/embroidered/imprinted sweatshirts (like Ed Hardy, Lucky, etc.)
6. Pink line from Victoria Secret
7. leopard print
8. military inspired
9. headbands are huge!

I find it cool how pretty much every post is almost identical...i thought the trends i see everyday were pretty much a british thing. Weird. Or maybe just ignorant...either way its fun to know that fashion victims are an international thing!

Spotted today in Amsterdam: A very stylish boy carrying a cheap checked shopping bag, he probaly wanted to be the first one with, since Louis Vuitton is going to make it a big trend next spring. :P

These bags:
