Short hair

ibimus~ im with you on that super cropped, gamine chic cut. im going in in a few days to get mine done shorter....it was so long before that i had to cut it in portions, since it was a little dramatic cutting as much as i did off. but now, i love it short that i want to go shorter! it's so fun, and i think it suits me more than longer hair...it's weird, but i felt a little strange with longer hair...almost like it never has quite suited me....i'l take more pics too. maybe i'll do a before and after. im thinking maybe short like maegan from america's next top model..... hope your cut goes well

I also think long hair does not suit me. My hair is super straight with no volume. I have resorted to weird ponytails in the past months. I really didnt know what to do with it!

I like short hair because it is easy to style. I tried to grow my hair over the past year but it has just turned into a mess. My hairdresser who has done my hair for years - she loves cutting my hair short - she has great fun when I show her Winona Ryder pictures! Hope you have a wonderful result with your hair also

thanks....but my hairdresser has been out sick all week...so looks like i wont be able to get it done as soon as i would like. im thinking about maybe taking the scissors to it myself.....i cant do THAT much damage if i just take a lil bit off the bangs and sides

I've always had at least long-ish hair, but around Thanksgiving, as I was becomming mildly obsessed with Fitzgerald, Flappers, and the entire idea of "bobbed" hair, I decided to cut my hair. I literally cut it. I also literally cut it from the middle of my back to a very short bob. I absolutely loved it, and I got many, many positive comments on the look. Most people said my entire look was more sophisticated now.
Unfortunately for the short hair look, though, I can't stand never being able to put my hair up - a fallout from my ballerina days, I'm sure. So my hair has been steadily growing, and is now somewhere between chin and shoulder length. Though I loved the short hair cut, I missed the possibilities of long hair.
I do think short hair looks brilliant on anyone with good bone structure. I'm never seen a short hair on cut on someone with defined features I didn't like.

Nice cuts Neddie and ibimus! I was supposed to get mine cut before New Years but I didn´t have time, I´m thinking about cutting it sometime next week though, but not as short as I first had planned. I´m gonna bring these two pictures to give her an idea of what I want (photos from jedroot)
