You have got to be kidding me. He is now #2 on my "Celebrities I used to think were cool, but now totally suck" list. Thank gawd I don't own any of his movies. Well, except for Closer, but he gets ripped a new one in that movie, so I guess that it's okay.

Exactly! I loved him in Talented Mr Ripley and Gattaca and he always seemed like such a loving devoted family man. Pah. My ****, he looks like he's good with his kids but he is not a man of honour. Why get married at all if you're going to cheat and blaming it on Sienna is just too much. He is going down. I don't particularly like her but that poor girl deserves more than public humiliation. And as for Closer, despite the good performances, I did not and could not in the least identify with any of the characters. Are people really that callous to each other in real life? I'm supremely thankful I don't know anyone like that and I definitely don't care to.

That's exactly what I said to a friend of mine some days ago. She loved "Closer" and I hated it, because it was shallow and pretentious, and too far from my reality. And plus, Jude sucked in this movie as he has been sucking in most of his movies (he's a lousy actor, gorgeous, but lousy - and now also a sl*t )

but put something out there like this...
feed it to the media, and the public, and your fans...

Less shallow? Less judgemental? Please. I believe everyone should have a second chance too but he's already blown his second chance. First with Sadie, now with Sienna. Doesn't that tell you something about his character? So what if they had problems with their relationship? They could've tried to work it out instead of him sleeping around with the nanny.....

ya... i agree with u too that he should get a hold of himself .. but i think the real reason he went public was because of the nanny.. she went public and told every details about thier sex life and everything which i think is very unnecessary... as a celebrity everyone wants to something about u .. so the least he could do is to admit it at least? sometimes life is so funny.. when you did something wrong and you keep quiet about it, people think you are a p*ssy and you are not brave enough to admit your flaws.. but when you decide to go public and admit your flaws, people will also go against you... i think as a celebrity you can never win because people and media will always try to find flaws in you and make you look like an idiot.

And tammy, Jude cheated on his wife, then cheated on the girl that he cheated on his wife with. Anyone else see a pattern hrrmm? I don't think most of us are judging him, it's not like we're screaming "burn in hell Jude you adulterer!" and whatnot, just expressing our disgust at that kind of conduct and the fact that many don't respect or condone that kind of behaviour. Yes, people make mistakes of course, but when they keep making the same ones over and over again it doesn't mean they can get away with it each time. I personally don't approve of promiscuity or adultery so that's just my humble opinion and if I am ever weak enough to succumb to anything like that, I would be very ashamed.

well u know what? honestly i don't know why didn't he make this or that move... too many why and too many questions... but all i know is that we will never know the full story and we can't just judge him based on what we know or what the media says.... mind you i love reading gossips and magazines but u can never believe fully what they said... yes he must have felt ashamed and that is why i hope things get better and be less judgemental about this.. he probably wouldn't know about this conversation but i do believe people CAN learn from thier mistakes and able to change THIER PATTERNS if they try...

This wasn't a "oh I got drunk and she came on to me. . blah blah blah" kind of cheating. He was with Sienna, and he willingly went ahead to have sex with this woman (again) despite the concequences it had on his previous marriage.

This kind of behavior is obviously in Mr. Law's character, and that can never be changed. People make mistakes. . . but you can only make a mistake once. He needs to find a girl who isn't as keen on monogamy either. . . and stop hurting people this way.
