Sienna Miller

The war starting in 2003. Sienna's best style was 2004. I don't think the war affected her style then

Sienna always looks good to me, even when she's a "mess". It's all in the attitude...

even though the war has started in 2003, it was supposed to be finished in 2004. i'm not trying to get all political. but i worked for a fashion forecasting firm in NYC and that is how they develop trends, based on the mood of our country. bad times=rough times or simplicity, good times= excess and over abundance. it's subconscious and real.
anyway, it doesn't just effect you the first year it takes place because it doesn't really sink in.
also, i have shopped around at all the hot spots in LA, milk, diavolina, fred segal, hollywood trading, barney's etc. of course the extremely rich don't bat their lashes but i am sure some of their friends do.
i also think that there is such an over abundance of **** out there to purchase that it makes you not want to buy anything. in a world where h&m is taking over and spitting out trends before designers can even show them is the world we live in now.

Well she doesn't need to buy clothes- she owns so many and is given so much free stuff that it wouldn't matter if she didn't go shopping for the next five years!

exactly
i think no one is saying that the war didnt affect her (personally) but i dont think it has much to do with her style...
or any of the other celeb's style that is

Maybe she has more on her mind than putting together the perfect outfit everyday. Like her life...Everyone goes through a slump

^ The thing is I don't think that, back in 2004, she would get up every morning and put her mind on picking the perfect outfit...I think it came natural to her! That's what I loved about her! She would always look amazing without even trying hard to!

it's also something younger people put into, as you get older and yes I am older, you just start feeling like things are so contrived. to me, that is what she looks like. like she doesn't care as much.

I agree with you. I just always thought she had more on her mind, and that from the beginning dressing for her was instinctual and natural.:blush:

zara has some booties that look similar to the ones she is wearing in post 23071 in case someone is interested.
