sometimes she seems she's re-gaining the freshness of her look of the first years, when she begun to be famous (that was really cool!!). This is the style appearing on the last photos, which I like...but sometimes that freshness does not come out....her style fails and looks like really made up by chance...looks like she wakes up in the morning and chooses... whatever!

The clips of it i saw on youtube looked really bad. It was mostly Sienna's acting that bothered me. Did you think it was the acting that made it bad or just the overall movie? I still don't know if i should see it or not.

^ I disliked the overall plot of the film because I think Dylan Thomas was an absolute idiot. The relationships were played out really well though. I think the real star was Cillian Murphy though. He was mind blowing. I don't want to give too much away but I think Sienna's characterisation gets a lot better as the film progresses and you see the sort of things Caitlin has to suffer because of her husband and because of her own promiscuity. It wasn't an Academy Award worthy perfomance (personally, I think she was a lot better in Interview) but she does shine in the role.
Well it's everything...the acting is not good, the story is kinda messy....I'm expecting a lot better when I hear things like "Sienna Miller and Keira Knightley deliver the best performances of their lives" and "This year's atonement, only better"...yeah right!!! I can't say it was a total waist of my time cause Keira looked gorgeous in it, and I like the fashion in general.

The fact that it has Kiera Knightley it in and it got some press but is still not out in theaters says something...
I feel like Sienna has had plenty of chances to prove herself as an actress but has failed to do so. It's not like she needs a good film, she's had plenty of good roles to prove herself. And she chooses bad movies to be in and at the same time says she wants to be taken seriously? I don't get it.

I don't know about there being "Plenty" but I think she has proven herself in the good roles she's had. It was the film itself (Factory Girl) that was crap. She was the only good thing in that.

^ I didn't like her acting in Factory Girl. Yes, the film was crap but so was she. I felt she over-acted. I did not believe for one second that she was Edie Sedgewick. She was quite good in Interview but I certainly wouldn't describe it as 'amazing'. That said, I think she will prove herself and surprise many with the right film, but she better do it fast. Something tells me it won't be GI Jane!
