hmmm... it'll be interesting to see it when it grows out a bit and/or when she has it styled and is done up with makeup etc. frankly, a change isn't a bad thing, even though of course her hair is one of her best assets. but still... it's intriguing.

Everyone is taking this hair thing way too seriously. It looks like a mop, but it's for the movie. Who knows when she attends to some fancy thing and makes it all pretty it will look all different.
Actors and actresses sometimes are expected to do things like this for time to time for a role. That's their job and if you take your job seriously you'll do it.

^ precisely: it shows her professionalism. besides which, it'll be interesting to see it styled up nicely; i could see it looking quite flapper-ish or 1920s done up right.

Perfectly said nita-karoliiina. We've seen much worse and much more demanding transformations for a role. This kind of initiative is a great point for Sienna, it shows that she's willing to commit to a role. Besides after the filming she can still cut her hair short instead of going through an awkward growing phase. I've always loved her with a pixie cut.

I agree with all of you. As an actress you need to not be afraid to completely transform your look up, and Sienna never has.

And Wolkfolk I too would kill to see her rock a pixie again
