How is this appropriate to wear at a funeral? Isn't a funeral held to pay respects to the deceased and to think of that person rather than to show your style and cleavage to the public? I think these celebrities try too hard to look effortless and cool but it just comes across as selfish and naive of them.

Not really. Unless I die young I would not want people to wear black. These things are a lot more fluid these days.

Several guests wore leopard print as a tribute. I don't know much about the person who died, but I am sure sienna does.

Reminds me of that episode of sex and the city where no one wore black to the funeral

Um, isn't it pretty obvious that there wasn't a conventional dress code considering what the other guests are wearing?

Bernie Katz was seemingly a very eccentric person, so sure, I can get behind a non-traditional outfit to pay tribute but what Sienna has on is just terrible.

I agree it is terrible, but if you go to most events like weddings/funerals/christenings that have dress codes you will almost always see plenty of people who are following the dress code but dressing generally ugly. Very few have only friends and family with equally good(/bad) taste.
