Leonie, i doubt very very much that Sienna looks on this board to see what people think of her. Seriously. And if you are going to put yourself into the media spotlight and enjoy the dizzy heights of being labelled a style icon (and she definately did enjoy that status.. see her interviews around that time) then you have to expect a fall and that people aren't always going to think that you are the best thing since sliced bread. Sienna's fashion success was a fad, and the fad is now over. Quite honestly this is old. Why should we not be able to have an opinion on what she wears? she has her career success due to the paparzzi keeping her in the media spotlight. We don't have to like everything she wears all the time, and believe me, if she starts looking good again then i will be the first to come onto this baord and say she's looking great. But she's not at the moment and this is a fashion board to 'discuss' peoples style. We're dicussing it.

And I personally would not put myself into the media spotlight that would mean that everyone would discuss me because i accept that that is part and parcel of being in that industry.

But i bet my bottom dollar if i was i would have better outfits than her right now!! Ha ha - chill.. i'm just joking!

the opinions here reflect the opinions of many people. so she WILL know that. if celebs never read internet pages, comments, articles about them they wouldnt feel such a pressure ( to be perfect).
I know what you mean though, i wouldnt put myself out there either. I just think we should discuss her STYLE and not say : omg she is such a sl*t! omg shes such a damn copy cat,etc... i mean we should relativate things a bit more..since she's a young/new woman/actress, and has stuff to deal with anyways like everyone, you know? no offense to anyone though.

Probably. She said on AccessHollywood she prefers her long hair. She said it's "more me". But said the short hair was freeing....but still I think she's self conscious of it. There's pple who cut their hair dramatically and hold their head up high while walking down the street, then there's pple, like Sienna, who, cover their hair with hats, point their head down, fiddle with it....
Umm, yea it's freeing in a way that you have nothing to hide behind...

What people seem to forget, she's a person with feelings. The only thing I read are rude and hurtful comments. Why cant you be a bit more considerate and give her space? What would you do if you got up in the morning, put some clothes on and 1 billion people would check and observe and judge you every single day and then bash you?

Well said, I don't think I could be a celebrity for that reason. It's hurtful when some you know bashes you, I can't imagine how much it'd hurt to have millions of people acting the same way. People act like celebs don't read aout themselves online, and sure some don't, but there are plenty who do. Karma!

honestly, i'd be like that too. i couldn't imagine cutting my hair that short in the first place, and the fact that she was willing to do that for a role is brave, imo. i think she should just style it and not wear hats/scarfs/headbands to make up for its shortness. i DO feel more comfortable with long hair.. i don't even like wearing it up.

Oh I would def. be that way too. I like the look of short hair, but I have quite a few bad hair days--and with ultra short hair, that doesn't work in your favor. I'll stick to my ponytail holders thank you very much.

Then again....we regular folks don't exactly have millions of dollars waiting on the other side b/c we cut our hair....
At least Sienna will make a load of $ out of it.

seriously, though. a lot of the trendy items of this year have been things she's worn as key pieces. i.e. flowy skirt, disc belt, fur gilet, vests in general, boots (esp. cowboy boots), balenciagas (so many fakes this year), etc. it was like "the year of sienna"..

They look moderately ridiculous taking the mod trend to its logical conclusion but I can't help but find them endearing. I love the tights on her, what shapely legs she has! Infact her outfit looks pretty damn amazing. I'm just not sure I like that jacket on Jude, plain black might have been better. Still they do make quite the pair.
