On extra or E! or some show they had behind the scenes footage of the VF shoot and it showed Sienna getting her photo taken in all kinds of outfits--a white strapless ballgown in most, but of course the mag put in the topless ones. Not a flattering pose or angle, either I must say.

I think the topless photo has more to do with the fact that Tom Ford was editing the Hollywood issue (he certainly loves showing skin!), and not the fact that Sienna wanted it or was trying to copy Kate Moss. Like you said their were probably many photos taken. The model/actress rarely has a say in what photos are chosen. That is up to the editor (Unless of course you are J.Lo and have it in your contract

I can`t really find similarities between her and edie. Edies lips are fuller,eyes brown and a little bit rounder shape etc.

And it seems strange as a preparing for a role dress like your character would dress, I mean, if you`d have to act a homeless you wouldn`t dress like he would. ...just... weird
