She looks like shes playing Edie,Edie dressed exactly like that[those are reproductions of her clothes from diff. photos and movies.Liza is someone who took the Edie look a long time ago and made it her own.Sienna looks just as shes suppose to for this part.Go and study Edie's oictures.
I think people arent liking it or wont be copying it because Edies style would look silly on alot of people now days-tights,tshirt and leotard and boots or heels,people just cant pull it off and everyone would think they were crazy not wearing a skirt with it or pants,plus youd have to be tiny......everytime I've dressed as Edie for parties and such-people didnt get it and if they even came close to getting it,they thought I loved Twiggys style,and those people were really old-like in their sixties.This style Edie has just belongs in the sixties.

and the make-up......it doesnt really work for now either.It's too much and too dark.....even for night clubbing.People just wouldnt get it....."Why do you do your eyes so dark and with so much makeup?"

^ I know what you mean, but some of the 60s fashions (Edie-inspired) are actually becoming popular.. Also, shirts with her face on them... And the whole mod-beatnik thing with striped tunics, skinny black pants and flats..

Well, I think Sienna looks great as Edie. Plus these are only candids and such as she is filming along. To each their own and everything, I think once the movie is put together, the outfits will make more sense while in motion rather than still if you get what I mean.

Agreed. I was watching the Golden Globe arrivals and the interviews- later I saw the stars' pics on the internet and some of them looked totally different! The pics did not do justice to the outfits in many cases.

I would think Sienna as Edie in the film will look different when we see it in the movie... After all, lots of these pics are candids with bad lighting, point and shoot; be prepared for a different look this summer!B)

I dunno why i feel SO compelled to write this but can I just emphasise the point that MOD and BEATNIK are 2 different styles.. NOT the same. This is BEATNIK. Edie was not a Mod, although she was an early influence on mod style in the American Mod movement. Just wanted to say that
