Jeez,I didnt realise this was a "let's give Sienna a bashing thread" - I think there's a Sienna v Kate thread for that.

And I didn’t realize this was Sienna’s blind adoration thread. Is any form of dissension pertaining to her fashion sense, no matter how mild, unequivocally prohibited? I've noticed that some here are particularly quick to pounce on any detractors. What is ridiculous is that this thread has become somewhat of a police state. The moment you have issues with what she’s wearing people jump down your throat. No one’s arguing here, it’s called “voicing your opinions”, this is a forum, get used to it. Who’s arguing about Kate vs Sienna? Is any mention of an imaginary Kate banned? That wasn’t an argument btw, it’s called a joke. No personal comments were directed towards any members or towards Sienna, all were pertaining to her style.

I speak for myself and my opinions were about her style and when imho she makes such a glaring mistake you can't expect everyone to fall all over themselves fawning over her. People are allowed to have differing opinions as long as they're not along the lines of bashing her personality or calling her demeaning names cos none of us really know her now do we, but what she wears and how she presents herself is fair game. In fact she seems rather likable in the few interviews I've come across so it’s nothing personal against her just aspects of her style. And thanks for the heads up Mabs but I don’t visit the sienna vs kate thread cos I do enjoy seeing what Sienna is wearing if only to shudder in horror, it’s like a car crash, you can’t help but stop and look, and like I said, there are times when she gets it right and looks absolutely phenomenal as well as the presence of individual garments & accessories to peruse, not just overall style.

From the mixed nature of responses I feel I should point out something. I don’t quite understand why Sienna fans are sooo uber-sensitive. Comparisons are only natural, if you think it gets old then I suggest writing to Sienna and telling her to quit being so blatantly unoriginal. My occasional censure of what she wears is in no way an affront to those who admire her so please enough with the hypersensitivity esp when no comments were directed towards any one member or to Sienna’s personality. We get people in the Kate thread saying they don’t like her style, worse even, calling her ugly and whatnot and no one bats an eyelid, or at least I don’t. While I admire Kate’s fashion sense (her antics leave much to be desired though), even she is not infallible stylewise and when she gets it wrong I never hesitate to say so. (ie: monkey fur lol) That is the whole point of a forum, for airing different opinions. I really don’t see any reason to get all hot and bothered and self-righteous when other people have different views especially when it’s only fashion. So do the rest of us that don’t necessarily mind Sienna as a person but have issues with elements of her style have to tiptoe around eggshells here for fear of offending the diehard fans? Lighten up people. I don’t flame members who adore her style and it would be nice if the same courtesy were afforded to us detractors. And anyways, if this happens so often then, a) there’s a valid reason why so many people are picking up on it and b) yall should be immune to it by now no? Like water off a duck's back. If you consider something as mild as that bashing then it could be construed that you yourselves are readily bashing & and trying to censor any dissenters for airing their honest opinions instead of sugarcoating them just to please the rest of you. Right. That’s all I have to say about this so please let’s all agree to disagree and move along back to discussing Sienna’s style.

im sorry but the styling job for this is TERRIBLE! if this is a mainstream film.. atleast they could spend more than 100 dollars on their wardrobe, no? eddie is infamous for her stunning and revolutionary style... so why are they making her look like she bought all this fake leather, 5 dollar crap from kmart? edie was a wealthy girl and wore high quality materials. PLUS, most of these outfits dont look ANYTHING like eddie's clothes! i could have done a better job w/ this on my little budget. so dissapointing
