While waiting for Matthew Williamson's first collection for Pucci to start, Sienna Miller had her hair cut backstage.

"I'm trying to get rid of the tomboy look," she said of the shaggy chop that she had for her role as Warhol icon Edie Sedgwick in her latest movie, Factory Girl. With her new, cute fringe, she looks the epitome of the Sixties dolly-bird.

well, yes..i noticed too that sienna is a bit hairy and maybe it got more striking because she lost a lot of weight....but i´ve never heard of hair growing more by losing weight

yes it is very true, as you get thinner your body gets 'colder' and cannot keep heat in as well as before, therefore you body 'mechanism' kicks in here, your bodily hair becomes far more thicker and darker, this is usually seen in anorexics and bulimics, but i dont think that is the case for sienna , shes glowing first of all! and she seems healthy and fit, evening if she does say she never exercises

I'm sorry, but I think it's pretty sad to take conversation right down to Sienna's body hair or mustache` whatever. So what? She has hair like every other person on this universe. Some of us choose to wax it, some of us don't. She's a low maintenance gal.

I kind of have to disagree here, I'm sorry Dreams . I'm asian and for us, waxing your arms/legs/upper lip (another Sienna problem area) is as normal as a manicure or a trim. A lot of my dark haired caucausian friends do it too. Your arms just look so much better after, and it also gets rid of all the dead skin cells. On sienna, close up or not, you can see the hair pretty well.

BTW, I do agree about the legs and upper lip absolutely. But in most pics of Sienna I can't notice the lip hair's there--unless it's really close and she's got bright flash bulb on her.

But I stand where I stand with the arms--I think it looks fake waxed...except the very few who I know for a fact just never grew arm hair....for some reason it doesn't.
However--I do think if you're a girl and have dark arm hair--it needs to be dyed blonde.

like its really not something to get caught up about but maybe judes favourite was the tan one, and he just kinda adopted it and said it was his, that often happens then the dogs would still actually be owned by sienna which is why she has them now .........possible??!!

Maybe it's also the short hair that's making her look thinner. It's not as if she's never been that thin before. Late 2004-when she first started getting photographed-she was that thin and she said it was due to all the adrenaline and stress-there were only a few photos of her around then and she was very skinny.

Exactly. Why do people notice it all the sudden? And about arm hair, I actually think it looks good to have blonde arm hair..especially on tanned skin. Yes, sounds strange, but I shaved my arms for a while and began to HATE it, so I couldn't wait for it to grow back. Darker hair is another story, I guess, and so is lip and leg hair. Enough of my few cents on hair..

i know this may sound weird but that 'anxious' smile is quite edie like.....maybe she still has some of her facial characteristics it from the recent movie...dunno...just a thought. funny also - she always tucks her thumb into her hand in paparazzi shots - have a look how many times she has done it - i think its cute
