i think she looks cute with her hair short. i really admire women who go against the grain of cultural and gender expectations and chop off their hair. it seems very impowering to me. she is looking more grown up these days.

You're right about that belt. I don't like the last outfit (ducks head from fellow TFS'ers who do ) It's all so mish-mash, sometimes that works, sometimes it doesn't. Preppy Marc Jacobs flats (made even cuter by the white tie) with tacky studded leather belt? And what are those tights? Although some of the pieces individually would look nice.

I guess it's not only because of the "Edie look" I also think that it depends on the season. people tend to dress different in the winter than in the summer. you wear more dark clothes...I'm the same way. but I also hope that she's returning to her "old" fresh look
