Sienna Miller

Jazlyn, I agree about her having the right to change her style. And, even though she has/had extensions, I still like the way they look/looked. I wouldn't want to mess up my hair by getting them, but I still think they can look nice on other people. SO many people in hollywood have them, though.

I am so f-inh sick of McQueen skull scarves and Balenciaga Lariat bags. Every single wannabe starlet has them, and generally wears them with grey skinny jeans... it's like a domino effect!

in the candids with the extensions she looks like a copy of Zoe Ball...:ninja: from like 5 years ago...:ninja: :ninja:

She's in the Sun and Mirror today...I did a scan from the Sun:

and the big pics:

I guess her and Hayden are still on then...she looks cute. Also, there's a cute pic of her on the front of the Mirror.
//scanned by me (The Sun)

Also, I think she looks adorable here:

She wears great clothes but her face seems empty. I think perhaps she smiles too much and lacks a certain sensuality that I think is a necessity in a true icon. Comparing her to say Julie Christie or Edie Sedgwick or Penelope Cruz say (to pull a completely random one out of the bag), she never seems to inspire me and she always looks the same, kindof... superficial like. But that is only my impression.

I'd say that her face is the only good thing that remains, because her style has got worse over the last year. I used to love the boho-period but, as months passed, I realized that she's not original, that her style doesn't come from within, it' s just not personal but copied and shallow. I'm very disappointed with that!
Anyway, I agree with you when you say that she lacks something (you call it sensuality, I would say a certain allure and charisma as well).

^I agree. Her face is pretty, her features fab, but she lacks this star quality that would make her look natural - just born to be on the red carpet and in the paparazzi flashes. It's a mixture of confidence, intelligence and sexiness. And she had more of it when she was with Jude...

I don't intend to compare those two on any other level, but take Lindsay Lohan - she has it, while Sienna would slouch on the red carpet (as in the film linked earlier where she arrives to the Vanity Fair party) and make painful grins in front of the paps.

I agree! I see she auctioned off that dress at the event, along with 2 t-shirts (one was Orlys and one Judes!) tea at the Ritz and a shopping spree at Burberry!

That pictures of her and Hayden mean nothing. It could've been a perfectly innocent kiss goodbye, but the photographs make it more than it is

Not Fair! I don't reckon I have a Wilkinsons. Is it a Euro place? What is 99p in American money? lol...
What I like about RayBan's avi's specifically is that little dip they have at the bottom. (Ya know kinda like a teardrop thing)...no cheapies have that!..that I've found.

I think they only have them in England, in more suburban areas.
99p would be like, $2-2.50. Incredibly cheap, so if they're lost at the bottom of your bag, it doesn't matter, especially if you're as careless as I am! I got them last summer. But of course ray bans are much better-you can even tell by the weight. I love them.

Hello!
I need help please to track down the designer of an item that Sienna has been pictured wearing. Unfortunately I can't find a picture anyway Ii know, I know!)
Does this ring any bells (or indeed does anybody have the picture?) White embroidery anglaise style/vintage looking (but I'm sure it's not) long sleeved - she was snapped wearing it over jeans or black trousers I think?
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks :)

OK i have to get this out of my chest !!!!!!

i got totally crushed by Sienna with one pic of the alfie set (ray bans, fur gilet etc ...) and i have been collecting her pics ever since ... BUT since fall i havent taht much:
What made Sienna a style icon is that she brought something that every girl wants: killer face, great hair that didnt need much work (long loose locks), a dream body (thin enough to wear anything but still feminine) and YES she did have wonderful clothes !!! everything (almost) she wore suited her!!! but then came the "kate moss copy cat" stuff and the over-publicitized craze about it !!!!
She then i think, wanted to drop that image of copy cat boho chic(k) and influenced by her eddie role, got more into punk rock classy girl ...
unfortunatly, it doesnt suit her as much as the boho: cos she now looks like she tries hard to be fashion when she used to look like she just threw what she had on and look fabulous!
and the hair!! god!! i know she has a great face and is truly gorgeous, but hair that short rarely do favour ( maybe only just on meg ryan ...)!!
So what i wd love now is for Sienna to let her locks grow, wear more blue jeans and cute tops like before, and that she doesnt listen to anybody and get back to her own inner style !!!!!!!
Amen!

Jessica

I agree! They say the pics are from up in Canada but... uhhh all we see is the front seat of a car, it could be anywhere including gee, I don't know, on set last month. Since she's finished Factory Girl, she seems to have jetted from Lousiana to London to Milan to LA and now she's back in London - did the poor girl even have time to go to Canada?

They're probably just trying to drudge up the dying Sienna/Hayden story.

I don't think the issue with preferring Sienna's "old" style means that people are outdated with their fashion choices and don't know what's "trendy" now. When Sienna dressed more boho, it just fit her--she epitomized a lifestyle: a sexy, flirty, carefree, beautiful lifestyle. She had an essence, and even though it was "boho", I never thought she copied anyone because it fit her so well.

Then she had to announce to the world "I am no longer boho! I am now Edie Sedgwick-minimalist-mod-slash-rock-chic!" and completely changed her look. She hasn't slowly evolved her style or adapted this new inspiration to herself, rather, she looks uncomfortable in what she wears, and no matter how chic she dresses, she just didn't capture what chic really is. And this goes way beyond the hair.

I don't pretend to be a better dresser, and I still respect Sienna for wanting to be unique, which is why I'm always interested in pictures of her rather than of Nicole Richie or Lindsay Lohan, but I honestly couldn't care less about trends or what style is "in" now. I think what is the most important is to dress to suit your personality, body, aura, and to wear what best expresses who you are. Recently, it just looks like Sienna is trying to be somebody else.

I think her hair looks great in the photo just posted of her in NY.
Such a better shape to it than it has now.
