me tooo.. i thought they'd be for sienna's character. but susan sarandon of all people?!

i can't stand the idea of a film being classed as enjoyable just because of the wardrobe of one pretty insignificant character. i think it's shallow some people praise the movie but their only compliments seem to be how 'stunning' sienna was in it. her character was bland and so was pretty much every other character in that movie. it's pretty superficial to judge a movie purely on looks.

Who cares how or why people enjoy things. Life needs some shallow moments. If we were all serious. all the time and every word from our lips had to be poignant and earth shattering, I think life would become overwhelming. Fashion itself can probably be seen as incredible shallow, but this is a fashion forum so lets enjoy it. I enjoyed the movie Alfie for Sienna and her beautiful, care free style.

I agree u can enjoy the film because of Sienna or fashion!!! I also really enjoyed what she was wearing!!!!But on the onther hand it wasnt the best movie ever... But cant wait to see Factory Girl!!!

You're always so cheerful....^_^

Remember when...

Hey I'm new and wanted to give my two little cents....Even as a devoted fan sometimes I do find myself agreeing with folks who think Sienna is looking kind of boyish and boring lately. I was so excited when she first chopped her hair off because mine is short too! Haha. And also when she got away from the now oh so copied boho look. But her look seems to be more forced these days and less magically thrown together, perhaps because she knows she's being watched more....

But then I see a picture like this and I'm reminded of how (imo) breathtakingly and naturally beautiful she is:

I honestly think she'll get bored and have extensions in a few months. Don't you think? I'm bored with mine but really can't afford them so I'm stuck taking vitamins! Heh heh. Woe is me. I think shorter hair suits a great many people, but I'm starting to think not Sienna or I really!

^I think the short hair suits Sienna when she wears it right. For instance--I thought her short hair was gorgeous in 2 different ways. At the LA premiere of Casanova--it hung perfectly on her. Then at the NYC premiere of Casanova. All of it pushed back with the band really suited her face shape (combined with her coat of course)
I think so many of us like seeing pics of old boho-ish Sienna b/c it's sorta...reminiscing. Ya know, that's what got us first loving her...
And it's nice to look back...^_^
I don't necessarily miss the "boho" look...but I miss her having so many cute key pieces... if you know what I mean.;)
I myself am not big on her *current* extentions, but if she'd made them a little longer I would. And obviusly, at the recent fashion week stuff it was a bit...horrid.

I know excatly what you mean.. :(

Although Sienna is credit with the whole boho craze, I don't think she every really dressed the way it was interpreted in all the shops. She nevery really wore tierd skirts with sequin tops and such. Her "boho" look was much more understated and vintage looking to me. Like the photo jakki posted. I think I would be sick of it all too if I saw the ways poeple "copied" me, wouldn't you...

Looks at these :sick::lol:

I think ImpossiblePrincess saw her in the play and said she wasn't as great as the lead ( Helen McCroy? ) but great nonetheless.

Just the fact that she attempted a Shakespeare play gets her props from me.

Yeah, I did say that! I think anyone would be hard pushed to look that good against Helen Mcrory, she was amazing, but Sienna did look good and I respect her for taking Shakespeare on. But the girls sitting in front of me ruined it. They marched in in their Primark boho threads and as soon as Sienna came on stage they all stuck their heads out to the front and started lifting up off their seats to see her-it was very sad and they looked a bit pathetic. Me and my friend were like...."woah! obsessive much?".

How paps coud make such a silly mistake :D thats funny

That girl must be surprised :D
