It is insane that the whole Kate/Sienna comparison is still going on. I guarantee Louis Vutton sent that scarf directly to Kate and Sienna as well as Lindsay Lohan, Kira Knightly, and many other young women in the media. In this day and age of celebrity freebees and company promotion I bet most of their fashion choices are steered by what they get from designers. The fall collections are about the hit the stores and having Sienna and Kate seen in this scarf is a walking billboard for the whole collection. We have no way of knowing "who wore it first", and really...who cares. They each have their own way of wearing the scarf, but I am sure neither one of them paid a dime for it.

I mostly agree with your view but i doubt that LV scarf is one of their mainly promotional products. kate gets it free because she is wearing it to shoot its campaign and you can safely say it's one of her wages. (we all know that sometimes models get paid by clothes/bags...etc.) for sienna's part, it's questionable the scarf may be associated with freebie to advertise when LV is mostly promoting their bags.

nothing against her. it's just my two cents on promotion and i know it could be wrong.

Great point twin star. I am just speaking from my experience and knowledge of the advertising and PR industry in which free "samples" and tests are sent to the media and other "friends" of the company all the time. Having a public figure speak about your product or in someway endorse it, is essentially free advertising, and the fact that the public sees it as the choice of the public figure to endorse it without clear payment (i.e. an advertisement etc.) makes it much more creditable. Sorry...got into a little Marketing 101, boring I know. I guess I was posing the question, we admire Sienna and others for their fashion choices, but once they reach a level of celebrity how much of their decisions are based on their own preference or that of what is given to them or needs to be promoted (movies etc.)? How much of Sienna's style do you think is affected by her celebrity status? Any thoughts?

The Homeless-guy look is a compliment in the Hollywood/entertainment crowd, though! Jude and Ben Affleck should hook up for a drink. They both have that try-hard-to-look-crappy thing going on. Admittedly, poor Ben is better at it than Jude. I never thought Jude looks so bad. Most of the time I feel he looks great.

Actually, I think he does look like a drug addict in those pics. What's so funny about the truth? The fact that people resort to calling people jealous is what's laughable.

If I thought Jude was looking "hunky" I would say so....in fact I used to think that. And I'm sure he still has the abilty to be cute. Someone mentioned he's filming a movie now and that's why he looks the way he does....but I can't imagine he's been filming for most of this yr, b/c that's how long he's looked it.
