These boots are like FASHION ICONS. All those in the fashion know (checkout photos of models backstage at NY, Milan or Paris, and Kate Moss) wear them to death. They are the pirate boots by Vivienne Westwood. It is extremely difficult to get your hands on a pair of these.
I for one have loved them for a long time now. Its a pity that these only come in vintage now, I think.

Also while iconic, Vivienne Westwood pirate boots, are not that hard to come by. They are still being produced and can be found in many retailers throughout london and in fact I saw a pair on sale last Christmas time at a local boutique.

to be honest, I don't quite understand the fuzz about them. what's so special about westwood's pirate collection? I mean,it's neither that sensational nor did it start some kind of revolution in fashion,didn't it?...
