Sienna Miller

aint that THE TRUTH! I think thats why in an interview they conveniently declined to answer the projected sales for the lauch ;) they know they are going to bank on this they just want to be modest about it which I guess is respectable but come on they knew it from the beginning
they`re line will be sold out within minutes :p

I loooove sienna's entire outfit for the Twenty8Twelve Lauch party sooooooooooo much!!! I love the blue dress and the tailored tuxedo jacket just beautiful and are those louboutins she's wearing???

Hey all you downtown fashion types! Getty has a ton of pics from the shopping trip and they have them all tagged as shopping at Chanel, but most of them look like anything but the Chanel store on Spring St (and the sales girls does not look like Chanel at all ) Does anyone know if she was actually Chanel-ing??? :D

^Are those gold gladiators by Marc Jacobs? I've seen some plastic ones that look like them.

FASHION BY THE NUMBERS

Sienna Miller keeps a tight hold on fellow fashionista Anne Hathaway Thursday night at the spring '08 launch party for Twenty8Twelve, a new fashion line by Miller and her sister Savannah, at the Gramercy Park Hotel in New York City.

Looks like Sienna visited some hindu temples and took part in a prayer ceremony whilst in india because she is wearing a sacred red thread known as mauli.....which is tied on those taking part in prayers...to symbolise the receiving of blessings:flower:

I just hope people don't see it as a fashion thing and start tying red thread on their wrists for the sake of it!^_^

I'm loving siennas latest outfits, for a while i've not really liked her style it was a bit grungy. It looks like shes back!!

The Miller Sisters
Sienna & Savannah debut Twenty8Twelve in New York
(NEW YORK) Sisters Sienna and Savannah Miller premiered their line Twenty8Twelve at the Gramercy Park Hotel’s rooftop oasis Thursday night. The design duo, who traipsed about the intimate space laughing and cheering as friends congratulated them on their debut, held court in their own designs, a mix of fall and spring 2008, as a behind-the-scenes video of the sisters working on the latter collection played on a plasma TV. The label, whose name comes from Sienna’s birthday—December 28—will be available exclusively this fall at Neiman Marcus and Bergdorf Goodman. The 80-piece line, entitled “An Anthology of Rebellion,” was inspired by the 1920s and Patti Smith. “But it’s a ton of different things based on free-thinking people,” said Sienna. In the midst of the thumping party, Sienna and Savannah, who are three years apart in age at 25 and 28, respectively, unveiled the collection to their parents, who were seeing it for the very first time. “Daughters tend to keep stuff from their mothers,” said the girls’ mother, Jo Miller, who wore Ralph Lauren for the occasion. “I’m very proud of their creativity; I’m into theater and they love fashion, but we’re an artsy family and so it all sort of goes.”
It wasn’t just their familial loved ones that received the special one-on-one treatment. The sisters, both clad in sneak-peek previews of their spring collection, also treated their friends and editors to personal introductions of the designs. “It’s brilliant and fun,” said Sienna of working with her sister. “We don’t have the same taste but we share an aesthetic and really get each other,” added Savannah, a graduate of Central Saint Martins, whose résumé includes stints at Alexander McQueen and Matthew Williamson. As a result, the line is a harmonious fusion of their tastes. “She’s hard and I’m soft,” Savannah said slyly, pointing to an ensemble on the monitor of a model in skinny jeans with zippers juxtaposed with a frilly, feminine blouse. “You can totally tell what designs came from Sienna’s ideas and which were from me.”And while no live models strutted about the private club wearing the line, publicists from the line’s communications team, Starworks, mixed pieces from the fall collection into their own wardrobes for the night.

“The first thing that came to mind when I saw the collection in London is that it speaks to my girl,” said Neiman Marcus’s Ken Downing, who flew in from Dallas for the event. “It has that coquettish, flirty attitude that they both have. The line is really such a commentary on the two of them.” Downing added that he’d always been a fan of Sienna’s style and thought it translated well into clothes normal women could wear. “Let’s face it, I would be devastated if Sienna was obsessed with the way she looks,” he said. “The clothes feel so good with that bit of nostalgia that harkens back to another century. And the knits are yummy.” Downing also revealed that Neiman Marcus will officially debut the line on September 8 at its Beverly Hills flagship when the retailer will host a private Saturday afternoon tea party with the sisters.

“And I adore Savannah,” he added, laughing. “She’s the same height as me!”
Anne Hathaway, who took time out from promoting Becoming Jane to make a quick cameo with boyfriend Raffaello Follieri, admitted to being shell-shocked by what she saw. “This is just unbelievable,” she said, making it clear that she has no intention of becoming a designer herself. “I’m hopeless and terribly unfashionable,” she said sheepishly. “I leave that to girls like Sienna and follow her lead.”
Others in attendance included Caroline Winberg, Lily Donaldson, Rachel Zoe, Nur Kahn, Max Minghella, Costello Tagliapietra’s Jeffrey Costello and Robert Tagliapietra, Rag & Bone’s David Neville and Marcus Wainwright, Sari Gueron, Sue Stemp, Jessica Joffe, Jay Godfrey, Lisa Marie Fernandez, and tardy arrival Jim Gold, who was happily introduced to Sienna as she waited in line for the restroom. Agyness Deyn, in a vintage white flapper dress, channeled the same era as the collection she was helping fête. “I feel like I should have one of those really long cigarettes,” she joked. “But seriously, it’s a way for younger girls to make their entry into Sienna’s world.”The Misshapes mixed it up for the crowd of editors, buyers, and designers from the worlds of fashion, music, and art. Leigh Lezark turned 23 that same day and had just returned to New York that afternoon from a photo shoot in Florence, Italy. “I spent half my birthday in Florence, half in New York,” she surmised. “I got an extra six hours to celebrate!”
Ever the gracious hostess, Sienna stayed until the very end, when she was gifted with a magazine containing photographs of The Ramones by photographer Danny Fields, an old friend of the late Edie Sedgwick and the man she proclaimed “the coolest guy in the world.” The much-photographed actress and Tod’s ad campaign star also took a moment to put to an end speculation over a series of three blue star tattoos on her right shoulder that she got while on holiday in Guatemala last spring.
“It’s for the three girls, me, Savannah, and our mom,” she said. “We’re just close and now our stars are aligned with each other.”
