Sienna Miller

yeahhh... let's start a thread for Savannah!!!! ^_^

I love how she looks in the last candids, except for the "scarf" thing, that I'm not sure about it. But it's an outfit really simple and easy to copy :p. I wonder what she bought in American Apparel...

Oh, and does anybody know what is her wrist tattoo about?

^Oh, just found it:

I post pictures of all her tattoos, if anyone else is interested :flower:

Sienna is red hot in a Twenty8Twelve top and skinny high-waisted trousers at the launch of her and her sister's fashion line at Bergdorf Goodman in New York.

i think she looks good...tired of seeing low rise grey skinnies seriously , this gives her a sort of marylin monroe look

Sienna and Savannah Miller Cite Dickens As an Influence

Sister act: Not just a great movie.Photo: Patrick McMullan

Sienna and Savannah Miller celebrated the launch of their collection, Twenty8Twelve, at Bergdorf Goodman last night with a cocktail party. We got a few minutes to chat with them.
What was the inspiration for the collection?
Sienna: Well, it’s based quite a lot on Dickensian London and refers heavily to the Victorian era with influences like the corset and lots of velvet — lots of structure, too. But there’s the rock element, which makes it feel more modern. Patti Smith’s style was a huge influence.
Savannah: One of the major things we borrowed from those eras is way things were made. We love the way things then were hand-sewn and tied. These days things are turned out so quickly, and we wanted to make sure that attention to detail was maintained.

How is it working together?
Sienna: It’s fabulous! We loved the idea of doing something together because it was really hard to see each other as much as we wanted with the kind of work I was doing.
Lots of celebrities have started designing lines. Do you have thoughts on lines by people like the Olsens or Kate Moss?
Sienna: Well, I think it’s fantastic. There are so many people out there, like Kate especially, who have such amazing influence on style and it's great to have them designing things that they would really want to wear.

Any plans for a runway show for Twenty8Twelve in the future seasons?
Sienna: I would LOVE to do a runway show. I absolutely love the theatrics of runway.
Savannah: Yes, definitely. I would say maybe autumn/winter of ’08 because that would give us some time.
Where would you show?
Sienna: Oh, I think it would just have to be London. It’s only fair!

I love the candids of her at AMerican Apparel, that flowered scarf really makes the outfit, thats when I love her style most when she wears something one of a kind a unique:heart:

I could have sworn in the recent Vogue article they mentioned it....
that it's Barry the Bluebird and it relates to a poem I think.

there is a poem by Charles Bukowski called bluebird (not barry though - I think that's just her nickname for him) and in Vogue they said that was where the idea for the tat sprang from.
:flower:

Thanks girls!!! So here we go with the poem:

there's a bluebird in my heart that
wants to get out
but I'm too tough for him,
I say, stay in there, I'm not going
to let anybody see
you.

there's a bluebird in my heart that
wants to get out
but I pur whiskey on him and inhale
cigarette smoke
and the whores and the bartenders
and the grocery clerks
never know that
he's
in there.

there's a bluebird in my heart that
wants to get out
but I'm too tough for him,
I say,
stay down, do you want to mess
me up?
you want to screw up the
works?
you want to blow my book sales in
Europe?

there's a bluebird in my heart that
wants to get out
but I'm too clever, I only let him out
at night sometimes
when everybody's asleep.
I say, I know that you're there,
so don't be
sad.
then I put him back,
but he's singing a little
in there, I haven't quite let him
die
and we sleep together like
that
with our
secret pact
and it's nice enough to
make a man
weep, but I don't
weep, do
you?

it's one of my favorites so it seems so strange to me that sienna is familiar with it enough to get a tattoo because of it

I guess that's why i like her style so much - we have similar taste across the board.^_^

i thought the tatoo had something to do with edie sedgwick. edie drew it once or something. in the movie factory girl sienna draws a bird like that for hayden's character in the coffee shop. i think she also mentioned something like that on one of the late night shows she appeared on.

it is great to see sienna using her fame to better OUR planet. keep up the great work sienna. thanks kochie for the link.
