I love Sienna barefeet!

I love to go barefeet in summer. It´s not too practical, but when you´re just walking a few steps around the block to walk the dog, or just to step put of the car to get an icecream...I just kick out the shoes....It´s fun.
I´ve heard that´s very common in New Zealand or Australia...Does somebody know about this being so?
In a beach near my place, you can a lot of surfer guys who live near the shore just go to the beach with trunks or wetsuits and the board, with no shoes or flipflops..not to be bothered to look after any stuff while surfing.
