Sienna Miller

Thanx a lot! Do you know when the one's of her with short hair were taken?

Found this at Sienna Online.

"Sienna Miller has hired a bodyguard for her new movie because bosses fear she could be a target for Islamic fanatics. Sienna, 24, stars in Although Interview, a remake of a film by director Theo van Gogh - murdered by a militant in in 2004 after his movie about Islam's treatment of women angered Muslims. Filming starts in New York next week and an insider said: "We'll ensure that Sienna and her co-star Steve Buscemi, get protection." - Sunday Mirror"

Sounds a bit serious, doesn't it, but its better to be safe than sorry.
if that's true then my respect for her has gone through the roof. i thought it was pretty cool taking on edie's role but i was unsure if it was just a faddish thing, but if she does this then it really shows she is an intelligent and politically conscious person which makes her pretty unique as an actress.

True. ^^ She's always seemed to say she doesn't want to be just the "love interest" character like she was in Layer Cake, but wants to do interesting and edgy women. She's definitely in Interview according to IMDb and I think was snapped coming out of a meeting with Steve Busemi a while ago.

If Buscemi is involved, then it really can't be a flop.. :) I'm excited.

theo van gogh's murder sparked huge political outrage in holland, and has been one of the major issues in the current debate on free speech in the west. theo van gogh is an icon in my opinion, and if sienna shares my viewpoint in this then she has gone way up in my estimation. just so everyone knows though, the film interview isn't the one which caused so much outrage, it was another called submission. but in a political climate when so many in the media are refusing to even mention his name in fear of islamic violence, steve buscemi and sienna miller are doing a very brave thing indeed.

sorry if this is off-topic, but i just thought it needed to be said.

I definitely agree. This is another article on the subject, with a bit about her feelings.

"I’m trying to make the right choices, for creative reasons, and they’re nothing to do with fame or money.”

In a week or so she’ll start work on another independent film, The Interview, a segment of a trio of stories based on the work of Theo Van Gogh, the Dutch film-maker who was gunned down by a Muslim extremist. “We’re recreating his films, in honour of his memory. It doesn’t touch upon his death, it’s a remake of the films he made in Dutch. But it is political and it’s kind of dangerous, I guess.”

I do respect her for that.

some outfits of sienna that i like

I esp like the one on the lower left hand corner. I never knew you could try so many things with a black mini skirt. ^_^

According to sienna-online.org the dress that we all thought was by Plein Sud is actually designed by Sienna's sister, Savannah Miller. pic from sienna-online.org

I agree with you and what makes me get annoyed is that Sienna always said that she loved animals and she was against people killing them for their fur, skin, etc.

I have to say her figure kind of sucks.

I see what you mean judging by those pics you were quoting  where she was sportin' an awful lot of...pelvis...   and her torso looks truncated there with no waist whatsoever. A downright sh!tty spread if I ever saw one. Cheap too.

But I think her real figure is a lot better than that. At least it appeared that way in Alfie. Lean and streamlined, yet feminine.

I would find it really sad if we look back on "Alfie" as the height of her career...She could be such a wonderful, beautiful actress...something's not going right here...:(

oh my life are you being serious? She does NOT look awful there. I agree that the spread is tacky and yeah very provocative but jesus, she looks like a healthy young pretty girl. I see a waist and if you think that she's 'sportin' an awful lot of pelvis' then christ, every woman who is not a size 6 must be doing the same. To be honest, she needs to get back to this weight, she looks great there in terms of her size. Right now you could break those legs like matchsticks and she could seriously fall down the drain grid she's so thin. Christ women need to understand that that is NOT healthy, and certainly not a figure to aspire to. Her figure in that shoot is beautiful and she looks great

I dont think Alfie will be the highlight of her career, at least not role wise even if her fans prefer her hair and look there. She's got the main role as Edie and is also a main part in several upcoming films it seems and got more parts than ever before, and I'm sure she'll grow her hair out again for some of them, its already getting longer again.

i beg to differ. i don't think she looks fat in that spread - that would be a stupid misconception but i think she looks awful. and it is true - she keeps sticking her butt out. cheap and tacky.
