I dont think Alfie will be the highlight of her career, at least not role wise even if her fans prefer her hair and look there. She's got the main role as Edie and is also a main part in several upcoming films it seems and got more parts than ever before, and I'm sure she'll grow her hair out again for some of them, its already getting longer again.

I don't think we can really talk about a career as an actress, yet. Her parts in Layer Cake and Alfie were concentrating on her looks, not acting skills. Casanova is more ambitious but the wig and clothes don't really help her image. Even if you look at the magazines, she's still percieved rather as a "fashion icon" or the "it" girl than actress. I believe once she's proven she's a good, talented actress, maybe get an award, that will change. But before that we can only wish there will be roles that'll surpass the sweet but undemanding Alfie performance.

I've heard a lot of stuff about that dress-Vogue and Elle say it is Junya Watanabe. As for Savannah, she gets a lot more credit than she's worth. Her stuff is bloody awful. I hate that she gets attention just for being Sienna's sister, because she doesn't design good pieces at all.

I agree about her legs. I liked it when she was pictured wearing non skinny jeans for once recently, I think it was a picture with Hayden.

Millermar, I agree that we can't really judge her career as an actress much yet, but I was saying that I don't think alfie will be its highlight. I'm lookng forward to both her acting and fashions in factory Girl at least.

Yeah-the St Martins show was widely publicised-she was even in the Telegraph-something along the headline of "big sister takes her turn in the limelight". Vogue had a few little pics of knickers and a vest that she designed.

Out of interest, has Savannah received much recognition as an up and coming designer or praise on her own merits for her designs, rather than simply being featured because she is Sienna's older sister? Because I never seem to hear much about her work unless its somehow linked to Sienna wearing it or something.

I would find it really sad if we look back on "Alfie" as the height of her career...She could be such a wonderful, beautiful actress...something's not going right here...

She's just beginning! So many films on the way, most of which sound interesting.

She's said she's sick of the words "boho chic" which is fair enough. Even though I really liked that trend and though she looked great in it, she can't keep on wearing exactly the same thing, and people would soon complain that she was boring never to experiment with different styles. And doing a film about a 60's icon its not surprising that she got very into the fashions on that film, even though I love her hair longer rather than the bob cut.

And really although we haven't seen the results yet and so can't really comment much, her career's in much better shape than last year, with a sucessful West End debut behind her and 4 films due out in the future she's slowly getting more credibility. She's in the process of becoming a star in her own right, and not just Jude Law's ex fiance and British fashion icon, although those labels will definitely stick for a while. She was invited to the Vantity Fair Oscar party on her own status this time around. Her love life has been a unfortunate since the Nannygate thing but that's hardly all her fault, but even so she seems to be doing ok there so far. Sorry but this is a big pet peeve of mine if you couldn't tell.

Amen! Skinny jeans are kinda starting to grate on me. They look great on some, but NOT all. Wish they'd look great on me, but I don't think they do, so bring on the non skinny jeans
