Try "Surf Spray" by Bumble and Bumble it gives a great look to hair gives a slight wave.

I got the same problem 2 years ago (now my hair is like Sienna's, a bit more curly even) maybe if you try to not brush them after washing? I always let them dry in the towel...I don't know if that's good though but it worked for me
