That was the day her engagement was anounced if I remember rightly. No wonder she looks so happy and beautiful. Shame a couple of months later it all went to pot!

'FACTORY GIRL' SIENNA GOES RETRO IN N.Y.

SEND TO A FRIEND

21 NOVEMBER 2006

Sienna Miller was jumping for joy as she filmed scenes for her new flick Factory Girl in New York this week. The pretty actress, who was virtually unrecognisable in a brunette wig, seemed to be having a whale of a time as she showed off some Sixties-style fashions in the heart of the Big Apple.
In the movie she plays It-girl Edie Sedgwick, who became one of Andy Warhol's closest friends before her hell-raising lifestyle got the better of her. And Jude Law's ex appeared to thoroughly enjoying the opportunity to take a step back in time with some colourful retro outfits.

She was snapped wearing an orange leather coat with white fur trim for a scene with American actor Jimmy Fallon. And in another, shot at the Alice In Wonderland statue in Central Park, she had donned a leopard print hat and white fur jacket.

Aussie star Guy Pearce, who portrays the legendary artist, had also undergone quite a transformation. With his hair bleached white and a pair of round sunglasses covering his eyes, the chisel-jawed actor's makeover was a world away from his appearance in films like Memento and LA Confidential.

Although she's busy lensing the new flick at the moment, when she gets back to London Sienna can look forward to staying in a new pad. The actress has just paid £1.2 million for an apartment in the upmarket neighbourhood of St John's Wood. She may not get to spend too much time there over the next few months, though, as she is due to appear in four more movies stateside.

why are they shooting new scenes i thought it was supposed to come out in the end of december?

It's so weird how on the "Factory Girl" website there is a picture of Sienna as Edie and she is carrying a big Balenciaga bag. I didn't think they had the famous Balenciaga bag back in Edie's day. Am I missing something?

i think they did because in the movie ciao! manhatten, when edies talking about her career and life in new york she says something about having chanel and balenciaga originals and that she had to sell them all for drugs. i am pretty sure she says that... i could be wrong lol ill have to watch the movie again

^ Even so didn't Nicholas Gesquiere design that style for Balenciaga?....
He for sure wasn't around in the 60's.

I actually like the stills...
she is capturing Edie well I think...
but in motion in the trailer she totally fails to me.
