I do think though that the real thing is always going to look "better" in pics than the actor playing the person. It's the real thing versus a fake. Has anyone seen the Natalie Portman "Audrey Hepburn" Bazaar cover?! (Uh..NO)
If there is ever a "Sienna life story" brought to the screen, you can bet whoever plays her and sports her many fashion incarnations from over the years is NOT going to have that special something either...I think she and Edie are both gorgeous and even if the movie tanks(in other words, doesn't make a lot of money)she's going to knock this role out of the park...

even though...the name could have been better imo. but i'm hoping it'll be less accessible than other celebritiy lines. i don't want a gazillion people buying it just cos sienna's behind it. i really want to see savannah's work too. ;D

It's official--Sienna Miller has her own clothing line. The collection consists of 80 pieces of ready-to-wear duds. The "Twenty8Twelve" line was created by Sienna and her sister Savannah. The name came from Sienna's birth date for those unaware of connection. They also cleverly named their label "S. Miller." This way they share the glory. But don't expect a monopoly from Miller.

"I'm not about to become a brand--I won't be releasing an album, perfume and knickers next year," said Sienna. "Because of my job, people are willing to invest in the business, but my sister's an incredible designer, and it's a great opportunity for me to work with her."​

Savannah designed at Saint Martins then moved on to constructing "S Miller" with her celebrity sister, Sienna. Their first unveiling in London sported denim, knitwear, tailored jackets, and dresses. Artsy was the name of their game as each collection will have a artist theme. For fall you can grab some David Cooper inspired clothes.
I think I'll stick with my Gap jeans and knock-off Chanel sweater. It may be a knock-off, but at least it's trying to be Chanel and that's got to count for something.

Sienna has her own style as does Kate no one is copying anyone here.
And like you pointed out a lot of celebs have fashion lines nothing new or groundbreaking there!

No, it was during her boho days, walking her dogs and I think there was also a picture of her, Jude and Daniel Craig going to dinner or something. It was a very long casual dress, worn with a thick beltand sandals.

Seeing that old photo just made me realize how much Sienna has changed. I loved her style back then and no matter how hard she tries now, there's just something missing, which is truly sad, because she single handedly made the girly bohemian look happen. I know people may think that she copies Kate, but I for one think that they each bring their own very distinct and separate visions of bohemian to their look.
I never look up to people for inspiration but Sienna was an exception. And then she fell from the pedestal.
And I started looking more to Kate Moss.
Now, even Mossy, isn't as great as she used to be. She's getting boring and she's always carrying that ugly Chanel Cabas around.
What is happening!?
