While it's true that in many European countries, going topless at the beach is not unusual or shocking, hanging around topless on your hotel balcony would be considered rude by a lot of people, as it suggests something more sexual. I've read that Sienna Miller had a very hippie-ish upbringing, so she is probably not perturbed by nudity and public displays of affection, but surely she is smart enough to realize that she is not a rock star, and such behavior could seriously hurt her career.

Yeah I agree, I mean she's not anywhere public, and I don't see why it's so wrong. It's just t*ts people, and I think it's more takey to go out clubing in a mini dress with no underwear than to be topless in the summer. We're not living in the 1800.
