^pretty.. I still think she has her "glow", just some off days like all of us. The only time I really abhorred her style was 1) the Edie phase 2) the bad bad extension phase. Even those had their okay moments though!

ok, this is new.

Celebrity knit wits

ixsienna350_1202488a.jpg

Sienna Miller and Sarah Jessica Parker are the latest recruits to join the increasing tribe of celebrity knit-wits.
Sienna Miller popped into London’s exclusive Weardowney boutique in Marylebone to pick up her specially-commissioned, hand-knitted “Target” jacket and matching beret. And hot on her heels was SJP, who snagged a ‘Fox’ knitting kit – so perhaps she is planning to knit her own!
Both Jennifer Connelly and Helena Christensen are already regulars at Weardowney, the Marylebone boutique which specialises in limited edition knitwear and was set up by two former models, Amy Wear and Gail Downey.
Gail had long been a keen knitter and had early on been spotted by John Galliano, who employed her as a knitwear designer.
The two girls launched their own label in 2003 and opened their boutique, Get Up, as well as producing a diffusion range for Topshop.
Today, the name ‘Weardowney’ comprises a guesthouse, the boutique and a knitwear school, with regular coffee mornings, knitting circles and ‘happy hours’.
From December 15th-19th, Weardowney is also hosting an Open House Week, with gift ideas for Christmas, the chance to make or customise your own Christmas presents, a spot of DIY with Weardowney’s Knit Couture Book (written by Gail Downey and Henry Conway), a preview of the 2009 collection, ‘La Vie En Rose’, plus a 10% discount on everything, free knitting lessons and other treats.
Knitting Kits cost between £7.50 and £28.50 and are graded to suit all levels of skill. Each one comes in a vintage-inspired ‘Half Hat Box’.
“Sienna Miller has always been a lady who beats to her own style drum, and Weardowney won’t be repeating the exact version of her ‘Target’ jacket and beret as it was created especially for her,” says Gail Downey.
“But those liking the look, can find or order their own individual pieces at the label's deliberately 'little’ shop. We like being a small, one-off business with limited edition pieces. Serving the customer who will be wearing our clothes is central to our ethos.”
