She's mostly famous for her tumultuous love life but Sienna Miller is eager to prove herself as a serious actress again.
The 26-year-old appears in a gritty new short film which acts as the video for See the Light by British band The Hours.
She plays a distraught psychiatric patient in the dark and twisted clip, which is directed by American History X's Tony Kaye and features art direction from the ever controversial Damien Hirst.

In the opening sequence Sienna, dressed in a hospital gown, finds herself trapped in an empty fashion boutique.
She spends much of the film clip in a state of distress, chain smoking and in tears.
Occasionally she talks over the song to someone off-camera as though addressing her psychiatrist.
She says: 'Break open my head then, fix it. I just feel panic and sick and full of dread. It's about time I face the truth.

Carnage: At one point, Sienna is surrounded by cow carcasses in the clip, which featured Damian Hirst as art director

Towards the video's climax, she wanders into a room which has dripping cow carcasses on the wall.
She then proceeds to rub the animals' blood over her body before saying: 'Death feels like the safest place for me right now.'
She concludes: 'Somewhere within all of the darkness there is a light and I need to find it.'

The Hours’ frontman Ant Genn, who penned the haunting song, says: 'It’s a song about struggle and addiction and fear and darkness and the video brings it to life.
'The song and the film work perfectly together. It’s bang on.'
There's little doubt Sienna is hoping her latest effort will distract from her private life, which has overshadowed her career so far this year.

Sienna and Balthazar Getty's romance first made headlines in July when married Getty was photographed kissing the topless actress on a boat in Italy.
Just days later Brothers & Sisters star Getty announced that he and wife Rosetta, with whom he has four children, were separated.
In August, Sienna's home in North London was vandalised with the word 'sl*t' as the couple were spotted in both London and Los Angeles together.
But their romance reportedly the rocks last month amid rumours Getty had been stalling on getting a divorce from his wife.
However they have since been seen keeping company again, but sources say their relationship is now 'casual'.

I found the corresponding pics at siennafan,but I wasn't able to find the second pic in the kmonline gallery (there's only a batch of photos w/ kate going out later in the evening, in the candids section). are you sure you got it from there? I'd love to hava a look at the other shots from that set (if there are any)!​

I got it from KateMossOnline forum...there are more pics yes, I think 2 more of Kate runing into Jude and Sienna, but the one I posted is the only you get to see a bit of Sienna!

Meh I think she was overacting in that video. People tend to think of bad actors as not being able to express enough but the other end of the stick gets overlooked so often.

Anyway, I like her 'knit-wit' look. Cute! Her usual candid style these days are a bit of a mess though. Maybe she's just trying to be comfortable (in that case, I totally understand)?

I think she's been looking lovely lately. I just saw Hippie Hippie Shake ... Eccentric movie, but really enjoyable. She looked lovely and I thought her acting was beautifully subtle and great.
